"Can you try and eat something Baby?" North asked as he watched Sean hook an IV up to her. "Whatever you are hungry for, anything at all."

"Let's try liquids first," Sean said softly. "Solid foods can actually make her sick if it's rushed, liquids will be easy and if she can keep it down then we can try soft solids tomorrow."

"I don't know," She shrugged. "I'm just tired."

"How about some soup?" Marc asked.

"That would be good and nutritious," Sean nodded. "Does that sound good to you, Pookie?"

"I guess," She whispered,

"Just try Kitten," Raven smiled softly. "Try works."

"How are the puppers?" She asked.

"I was actually coming to speak to you about that," The vet said as she walked into the room. "They are hooked up to IV buts refusing to eat. I think if they see you eat they will start to eat," She explained. "As bonded to you as they are, I really think that will be the only way besides the IVs."

"Okay," Calista said softly. "If it means they will eat then I'll try."

"Thank you," The vet, Sean, and Raven said at the same time.

"I'll be right back with some chicken noodle soup," Marc said grabbing his keys.

"Sleep Kitten," Raven said as he gently held her hand and ran his thumb back and forth in a calm soothing manner. "I wake Marc bring food."

"Mmmm," She hummed as she closed her eyes. "Sorry."

"Nyet sorry," He whispered, "Sorry bad family." He looked up from looking at how tiny her hand was in his and yet so fit so perfectly to find her already asleep. "Never see family again, promise."

"North?" Luke asked watching North who was watching her sleep. He hadn't spoken since they were notified by Sean and it was really concerning Luke.

"Mmm?" North hummed breaking away from her to look at his brother. "I'm fine Lucian," He whispered then went back to watching Calista.

"No you aren't," Luke shook his head, "None of us are right now."

"How will this work?" North asked no one and yet everyone. "What were you saying to her, Yevgeny?"

Raven looked up shocked at his actual name. "I tell her she marry us we take her away from family if want. She go school, animal school, work with animal lady, no be princess if no want. Whatever she want we do just stop no eating. She say she no want false marry no mistress. She ask point marry if no babies, I only marry to get eat she say I hero complex. I tell her no we true care even you. You just no hurt again we all want her but know earn trust. I say we be slow be friends no real marry if no want. We do whatever earn trust, no combine kingdoms if she no want, she tell want we give she say get her out."

"That's exactly what we will do also," Owen nodded, "we will earn her trust one day at a time. We know she is against this arranged marriage but she will eventually see it will be best thing for her."

"Most arranged marriages last longer than typical marriages because they are based on becoming friends first," Axel said as he played with the rings on his fingers.

"You still have some forgiveness to work on," Silas said looking at North, "It's good you already apologized but you are going to have to show her you really mean it. No more being mean to her."

North shook his head, "I won't. I know I have a lot of making up to do and have no problem doing it."

"Are you serious about not combining kingdoms and keeping her away from her family?" Kota asked and Raven nodded.

"They no real family," He whispered, "They bad people."

"You can't kill them Raven," Corey interrupted.

"I know," Raven sighed and rolled his eyes. "She ask I do."

"I doubt she will fucking ask you to kill them," Gabe chuckled.

"Don't tempt me," Calista mumbled as she slowly woke up. "Ugh I hurt," She whimpered.

"Where?" Sean asked as he put the clipboard down.

"Headache," She whispered as she closed her eyes.

"Dim the lights," one of the guys whispered.

"Let's see how you feel after you get some nutrients in you and if you are still hurts then I'll get you some pain medication," Sean whispered. "I don't want to give you something on an empty stomach."

"Okay," She whispered. "Oh that feels good," She hummed in appreciation as Victor rubbed her temples. "Thank you."

"Of course Princess," Victor smiled softly. "Still think it's kind of ironic."

"Yeah, yeah," She mumbled.

"I got everyone food," Marc said as he came into the room. Everyone hushed him and he nodded.

"Sit up Kitten," Raven whispered as Sean slowly raised the bed. "Try eat."

"Okay," She mumbled. "Where's—"

"Here we go," Kota said as he opened the door and Nathan walked in carrying Hades, Brandon walked in with Zeus, and Kota was holding Amaya. "We got them wet food to see how they do."

"My babies," She smiled as Sean and Raven pushed two more bed up against hers so there was plenty of room for the dogs to lay beside her. "Thank you."

"Of course Princess," Victor smiled as he moved out of the way. "We meant it, we will take this slow and earn your trust. We will be friends first."

"Thank you," She whispered as she watched Kota and the vet fill their dog bowls with canned food.

"I'll come check on them later," the vet said as she put some vitamins in the food.

"My babies," Calista smiled softly as they laid their heads on her legs.

"Here Baby," North said as he held out a bowl of soup, "it's just the broth for now."

She managed to drink half the bowl before she got too tired. The dogs watched her start to eat then went to town on their bowls. After they were done, they went to sleep as well.

They smiled seeing her and her dogs sleeping. Raven beamed as he held her hand, "Progress."
