A couple of weeks had passed since the charity ball and the team had not seen or heard from Calista since. The camera was found on her property by someone and destroyed. Anytime Kota walked Max there were no cars in the driveway and when Nathan would run, he would report the same thing, no cars in the driveway. Kota had no reason to take Max to the vet to see if she still worked there either. They were beginning to think she had gone back to her kingdom. When Corey and Victor researched the kingdom, they hadn't found anything that they didn't already know.

"Do you think she is okay?" North asked as they all sat around a table for lunch in between classes.

"Don't know," Luke shrugged, "maybe if you weren't such an ass we would know."

"I get it Lucian," North sighed in frustration, "you don't have to bring it up every single time you open your mouth. Sorry for trying to protect this family from getting hurt again."

"You should have let us make a family decision together," Luke pointed out.

"Guys," Axel said tapping the table breaking up the brotherly bickering. "Guys."

They turned to see Calista looking at some papers that her brother held out to her as they walked toward the group.
