Alison's POV
It had been a couple of days since the apocalypse was averted, (Yn) was still in a coma. The siblings were all at a nearby restaurant, all but Five.
"She's going to wake up... right?" Vanya asked.
"Of course she is! (Yn) is strong..." Klaus responded, but even he sounded unsure.
For Five's sake she has too...
"We need to be ready in case she doesn't. We all have to be ready to be there for Five and prevent him from doing something stupid." Luther says softly.
"Stupid like what?" Diego asked.
"Time traveling again." Luther answered.
'You think he would?'
"Yes, Alison... he would."
They all sat in silence eating their food for a while. It all felt so off.
"It's odd to think that (Yn)... who isn't even official family... is the one who's kept us all connected over the years..." Klaus mumbled.
"She saw the best in everyone..." Diego said softly.
Vanya looks at Luther. "How come you two weren't close?"
Luther shrugs. "I don't know... I guess we would have butted heads a lot like Diego and I... I don't know..."
Author's POV
Flashback
Thirteen year old, Luther watched as (Yn) began excelling at all of her abilities. He watched as after every training session she went to hang out with his other siblings.
She never meant to exclude him, she just didn't think he cared to know her. "Five!"
Five turns to her. "What?"
"Race you to lunch. No spatial jumps."
"That's a stupid idea. We're not doing that." Five rolls his eyes.
She shrugs. "Your loss then." She runs past him, giggling.
"Hey! That's not fair!" He spatial jumped next to her.
"You cheated! I said no spatial jumps!"
He stuck his tongue out at her.
"You little-" She tackled him.
"Hey!" He laid on the ground, she was sitting on his stomach with a victorious smirk.
"That's what you get for cheating."
"Get off me you weirdo!" He laughed.
"Promise not to cheat this time?"
He sighs. "Fine! No spatial jumps."
She giggles and gets off of him, helping him up.
"I'll get you back for tackling me (Yn)."
She smiled. "I'll hold you to that."
But what neither of them knew... was this would be the last day they'd see each other for several years...
