Author's POV

Today

A woman walked into the Academy, fear and anxiety at the front of her mind. "Hey, Mom." She called out, but got no response. She walked a little closer. "Mom?" Still nothing, so she returns to going forward as someone coming down the stairs calls her name.

    "Vanya?"

Vanya's POV

    "You're actually here."

"Hey Allison." Vanya said softly in response to her sister Allison.

"Hey sis." Vanya smiled softly at her sister, before walking closer together. Another person came into the room and voiced their thoughts.

"Ah. What is she doing here?" Her brother, Diego, said walking passed them. He looked at Vanya as he passed, saying venomously. "You don't belong here. Not after what you did."

Vanya looked down at her feet.

"You're seriously gonna do this today?" Allison said, disappointed in her brother. "Way to dress for the occasion by the way." Allison called after Diego sarcastically as he headed up the stairs.

"At least I'm wearing black." He responded and disappeared upstairs.

"You know what? I... Maybe he's right. And I shouldn't..." Vanya started sadly, as Allison cut her off.

"Forget about him. I'm glad you're here." Allison said.

It was silent for a few moments before Vanya spoke again.

"How... How is she?" Vanya asked.

    Allison sighed quietly.

"She's still in that coma.. Isn't she.."

    Allison nodded.

"Do.. Do you know if Dad ever figured out what happened and why she's like this?"

"I don't.. I think he spent the rest of his life trying to figure it out.." Allison responded.

"If... If Five came back... How do you think he would react?"

    "Honestly... I don't know."

"Can... Can I go see her?"

    "Of course."

So the two sisters went up to see their sister, one they weren't entirely raised with. They went up to the room she had been in since she got into that state in the first place.

    "I can't believe how long it's been..."

"I know... Look at her... She should be our age but no.. She's still sixteen..." Allison said.

Vanya sat in a chair next to the comatose girl's bed.

"You think she can hear us? Do... Do you think she knows we're here?"

Allison shook her head at Vanya's question.

"I don't... But I wish I had been able to visit her more often..." Allison said sadly, someone then came stumbling into the room.

The two sisters turned to see who had walked in.

    "Klaus?" They both said.

Klaus smiled at them, something about him seeming off. "Oh hey." He said holding out the sound longer than normal. "You came to visit our dear sister?"
