Pretty skirts and an even prettier smile. Falling in love has never felt so worth it, my first love, my first kiss. My new life. I want to paint you on the sky.  I'll trace your skin and memorise the lines in my mind. The biggest canvas I can find, I'll paint you for days, weeks and months at a time. While you stare off in the distance and just imagine a pretty life. Filled with our smiles. Nothing in this world will ever make me happier than in every waking moment I spend right next to you. I can feel you in everything I do. Taste your skin and caress your beautiful face. Trace the outlines of your smile when I make you laugh. Keep it in my mind to draw over and over again. Never be as perfect as the real thing.

Camera stored with all our thoughts. Those times when I needed you and had you right there. Black and white, sometimes a colourful hue. A blend of all the beautiful things I love about you. Your eyes, filled with life. Our life together, always you and me. Time seems to pass by so slowly when I'm next to you. I keep every second locked inside my body, your body next to mine. Delicate skin, pretty patches of colours I love to trace with a gentle finger.

I sit with your family, my family now too. I love everyone here but never as much as I love you. I'll never let anyone get between us, no one will match our love. If someone dared to take it away It would be like taking the moon from the sea. I can hear your soft breathing, next to me you lay. No one in between us besides the teddy that you hold to your chest. Your hand clasped in mine, hold tightening as you sleep, my hold keeps you safe just as yours does for me.

I told you to close your eyes and rest, see the dreams which make me happiest. You told me you would never go to sleep to find the best moments. You told me I was your only, your only happy moment. The constant that no one has given you before. You love many people but none like me, so much so you refuse to ever dream. You like staring into my eyes and whispering secrets we both love to keep. Telling me I'm pretty and there's no one else but me.

You're possessive and I love it. You're small but keep me safer than most have ever. I lean in and wrap my whole body around yours. The sun coming up through the window, a breeze through the open balcony door. We fell asleep watching the stars in the sky, I could hear you making wishes to those ones that twinkled every time you blinked your eyes. I made ones too, you didn't hear any. I made promise after promise that we would be together until the end. There's no one out there, not even the stars that could take us apart. We will be together until the universe wants us apart. We will fight anything that gets in our path, we will make our own and get away from the ones that wish to. So I pull you in close, listening to your heartbeat while watching the brightest star of them all come into view. I lean down to your ear and whisper a soft 'I love you.'
