~~~~~ Today a new student was going to be transferring into the second years' class. All they knew was that the girl was from France, so they were all nervous to meet the foreign student. However, when they saw her, they were stunned. The girl had their school uniform with shorts instead of a skirt, had her hair in two cute hair buns, so many piercings, and radiant dark skin with gold-like eyes to top. Panda, Maki, and Inumaki were shocked to see such a sight, but Yuta was ecstatic. He was overjoyed to see a person of a dark skin tone again. After class, Yuta was the first to start a conversation with the new girl. "Hey there, Behati. You probably already knew, but my name is Yuta Okkotsu", he started, earning a soft smile from the girl. "Nice to meet you, Okkotsu.". "Oh, you can just use my first name. Also, your name. Isn't it Afrikaans?". The question caused the young girl to holt mid-walk as she looked at the taller male, shocked. "Why yes, it is. How did you know that?". "When I was studying in Equatorial Guinea, there was a woman I knew who named her newborn the same and when I asked the meaning, she told me the meaning and the history. It's the Afrikaans version of Beatrice meaning blessed or she who brings happiness. Very fitting for someone who reminded me of my second home, which makes me quite happy.". Sparkles seemed to light up the girl's eyes as she listened intently to the male onside her. "I can't believe you studied in Equatorial Guinea. I have relatives living there.". "Really?". "Yeah! On my Papa's side. My abuelos moved from there to Brazil then my Papa moved to France for better education and a good job. That's where he met my mère who was originally from Cameroon.". "Well I'll be damned. What a small world.". And that was how the two became close.
As time went by, the pair became inseparable. It took some time, but the other second years came around as well. Yuta had to educate them on some stuff, but they got into the flow pretty quickly. While Yuta helped Behati with her Japanese and general knowledge of Japan, she taught him some French and general knowledge of France. Behati got in the swing of cooking often due to the popular demands of her classmates. Yuta was just enjoying all of the dishes he used to eat while in Africa while the other three were just enjoying all the new flavors and dishes. But Yuta was always the sweet helper who assisted in prepping and cleaning after every dish. The pair also had similar tastes in music and Behati would always recommend really good music that Yuta would add to the playlist specifically for the two of them. They have gotten so attached that they were comfortable with hugs, cuddles, hand-holding, saying 'I love you', and kisses just in general. The other second years were convinced that the pair were dating but the two were unaware that their actions indicated that. Though both parties were content in their current relationship status, there were times they wished they were something more romantic.
There was an African Music Festival happening in Tokyo so the second years and first years got a ride to the venue with Gojo and Nanami supervising them. They all wore street attire while Behati wore jeans and an African-inspired shirt with her dreads flowing.

Yuta wore a shirt matching hers, black jeans, and his usual chain. There were a lot of Africans and Black people at the event with a few Hispanics, Asians, and the occasional white people. They all had a blasted. Nanami watched the kids from afar, bobbing his head to the music while Gojo got pulled away to dance with some girls that caught his eyes. Inumaki, Panda, and Yuuji were dancing while trying to get Megumi out of his shell to dance with a girl he's been eyeing for a while. Nobara and Maki got claimed by a group of black and Hispanic women, dance their hearts out, and had the time of their lives. Then there were Yuta and Behati who danced together since they knew most of the songs that were playing. From the way they danced together, you would have mistaken them for couples which a lot of guys did; not that Yuta minded it considering all the stares Behati was receiving since she stepped foot out of the car. The pair took a break from the dance floor to hydrate themselves when Nobara and Maki ran up to the pair to pull Behati away to the group they were hanging with. Yuta decided to stay and watch from a distance. What a view he got. Behati was grinding and twerking on Maki, who simply caught it and grinded back. Yuta chuckled seeing his two favorite girls let loose and have fun. However, he then caught glimpse of a group of guys staring at his friends; specifically Behati, and a sort of possessive feeling came over him. So as the song ended, the male walked over to the group and gently grabbed Behati's hand before telling her to dance with him for a while. The girl agreed as she said bye to the other girls. Just like Maki, Behati threw it back on Yuta; not surprised when he caught it. And as they danced together, Yuta caught glimpse of the guys who were staring at his girls and decided to give them one more thing to hate over. He tilted the smaller girl's head to him and kissed her passionately, so much so that she let out a low moan. But when he tried to pull away, she pulled him back in causing him to groan as well. Suddenly they were interrupted by a possibly drunk Gojo telling them since the festival was almost over, it was time to head out. So Yuta rounded up his friends who were dancing with a group of males who took interest in them, pulled Yuuji away from the girl he was dancing with, and called for Megumi to join them; who was making out with the girl he had his eyes on for most of the event. Behati said farewell to the girls who they were hanging with and left with Maki and Nobara. While the girls were still partying in one car, Yuta was getting chewed out by Yuuji and teased by Panda, Inumaki, and Megumi.
When they got back to the dorms, the group was exhausted and headed to their rooms. Before Behati could even get close to the dorm, Yuta pulled her in for another kiss full of desperation and passion. He walked her into a wall deepening the kiss as he cups both sides of her face. When they pulled away, he said the one thing that bugged them both. "I don't think we can be just friends anymore. You are too precious to me to let anyone else have. And as we both know, I loathe sharing what I am possessive over. So would you mind becoming my amor.". Behati smiled softly before saying, "Took you long enough. I was worried you were more oblivious than I gave you credit for.". "Oh you got jokes now," he said, tickling her a bit before kissing her one more time.

A/N: You see the manga never specified where he studied in Africa, so that is where I came in with my headcanon. As for some blank filling, Equatorial Guinea is a Spanish-speaking country in Africa and the only one at that. Cameroon is a French and English-speaking country among many in Africa. Which is why when referring to her dad and his side, Behati uses Spanish while she uses French to refer to her mother.
