~~~~~ Kageyama has acquired a new person in his life, Amanda Wilson. Amanda was very curious about his existence, so she made it her business to learn about him. Not that Kageyama minded since more times than none he somehow was the center of a lot of people's attention. Plus, she was really kind. Stood up to his bullies, made sure he was eating properly, cheering him up when he seemed down even though it was his resting face; the girl wanted him to feel appreciated. Though the boy struggled with showing emotions, the girl would sometimes know how he was feeling. Sooner than he anticipated, he started to enjoy Amanda's company more than usual. The boy slowly allowed more physical displays of affection, finding comfort in it. Whenever Amanda became a target for bullying, Kageyama did everything he could to shield her: from gently grabbing her hand to pull her away from it, to using telekinesis to protect her hair as he knows it is something she treasures. Kageyama is the only person to ever lay fingers in Amanda's hair outside of close relatives, but he usually settles with using his telekinesis to place cute jewels or flowers in her hair as long as he has consents to do so. After a while, word spread around the school about the pair and how cute they were, but also more girls started to feel something for that quiet awkward kid who was labeled creepy. However, as flattering as it was, Kageyama rejected all of their offers because he had developed feelings for Amanda that were more than friendly.
After many failed advice and intense research, Kageyama managed to figure out a way to ask Amanda out. He would invite her on a picnic and then ask her to be his girlfriend after eating. His mom volunteered to prepare bento boxes for each of them and he found a beautiful clearing near a lake so all that was left was to ask the girl out.
Kageyama appeared with a small bouquet of flowers at their classroom door. Inhaling a deep breath, the nervous boy made his way to Amanda who has not noticed him yet. Mustering up all of his courage he tapped the girl's shoulder to gain her attention. Amanda turned to greet the boy but gasped when she saw her favorite flowers in front of her. "Um. Amanda. W-would you like to g-go out with me on Sunday?" the boy sputtered. "Aww, baby. Yes, I'll go on a date with you," she answered as she stood up to kiss him on the cheek and hug him, taking the flowers in hand. The class clapped for the pair and for Kageyama making the first move.
The day of the picnic was an anxious one. Kageyama was fidgeting the entire time he was waiting, praying everything will go well. "Hi, Shigeo," a familiar voice greeted, making the poor boy jump but he was stunned to see his date for the night.

"Is this too much?" Amanda asked. "No. You look beautiful. I mean it," he said, now nervous seeing the girl in something so cute. Holding her hand, he helped her to the clearing before displaying his physic abilities to set up the picnic. The look of amazement and excitement on the girl's face gave him a new feeling of confidence. They shared stories and laughs as they ate; making the thick walls of nerves melt away. By the end, they just watched the sun set leaning against each other. "We should do this again," Kageyama said blissfully. "We should. I really enjoyed this." Amanda replied. The boy suddenly stood up and helped his companion to her feet before using telekinesis to clean up the picnic. "Well then. I got some planning to do." he smiled and kissed her hand; leading her back to the main road and back home.
