Hideo

I'm on the top of a tall tree near Michiko's Cabin, I'm now watching Akemi and my daughter talking and laughing. Seems like they're talking about a funny thing, they stood up from sitting on the stairs in front of the door and looks like they're going inside already. But Rainie saw me and gave me a sweet wide smile and waved at me, Akemi saw me too and smiled.

'What are you doing there?' she asked using her inner voice

'Just watching a beautiful scenery' I answered and smiled at them

'Come down here, we're cooking lunch.' she said as they turned around to go inside the Cabin

I watched their every steps until they disappear in my sight. I don't know why I felt pain in my chest, its feels like it was stabbed a million times.

I climbed down the tree and my feet brought me inside the Cabin where I found my Wife and Daughter happily cooking in the kitchen. I walked towards them and I hugged Akemi from the back and she got shocked before chuckling, I heard Rainie giggled.

"Hideo, get off of me, Nagluluto ako" she said laughing a bit. I didn't answer her, instead I kissed her left cheek before letting go of her.

Letting go of her...

I don't know why does that word hurts me. I just ignored the painful feeling inside me and just watched the two special person in my life. Akemi is teaching Rainie to cook a certain recipe while Rainie is attentively listening and watching her mother.

I was just watching them when I felt a warm liquid came out of my eyes and flowed down my cheeks, I immediately wiped it and smiled at Rainie when she looked at me. I don't know why I'm feeling like this, I think it's just because of the overflowing happiness. I just can't imagine that I almost lost them, my wife and my daughter.

I'll assure you that I'll do everything just to protect the two of you...

Akemi and Rainie both turned around and showed me what they cooked with a smile on their faces.

I was walking then I saw Akemi with our Daughter walking towards the plaza when Akemi turned to me she smiled and wave at me.

"Hideo, come on. We need to hurry, we're going to buy a gift for Hiro." She said. I smiled and walked towards them

I held Rainie's hand on my left an I wrapped my other arm on Akemi's shoulder. We walked as a happy family towards the plaza,

"Malapit na po pala ang Birthday ni Tito Mitsuo, ano po kayang maganda na regalo?" Rainie asked.

"Mm, I know he will appreciate what ever it is as long as it's from you sweetie." Akemi answered with a smile.

"Your mom's right, because if he don't accept him I will kick him out of here." I said and we all laughed.

We ate lunch in the plaza because Akemi said she can't cook now because she and Haruka are going somewhere. I know they're going to spy on Rin.

After eating lunch Rainie goes first because she have a class, I and Akemi goes to Michiko's Cabin. She said she'll wait for Haruka here.

I watched her prepare her weapons and her cloak.

"Stop staring at me." She said as she laughed a bit.

"I just can't stop," I smiled at her as I walked slowly towards her. I grabbed her waist with my right hand and I caressed her cheek with my left. I looked straight into her intense green eyes and smiled.
