Chapter 14: [Hiroshi/Naomi]

Hiroshi

It's been 3 months since Mom and other members of the Great Seven left. Mom said they're going on a mission and she can't tell me what it is. I'm getting worried as the days, weeks and months passed by.

"Hiroshi, C'mon!" Hayate called from outside the dorm.

I looked at my picture with my Mom for the last time before getting out of our dorm.

"Let's go," I said.

We headed to our class, Reina and Kana are already there. Well Kana is new to the Atama Family, she just came last year.

"Huh, how come you two were late." It is Reina, smirking at us.

"Tss, as if this isn't the first time you came first than us." I said and Reina is about to say something but Sir Eiichi already came.

I listened to the discussion but a part of my mind is thinking about my Mom. I hope she's fine and I hope she'll come home soon.

After our 2 consecutive class, we decided to go to Ms. Michiko's Cabin. When we're near we felt a strong presence, Reina and Kana tried to summon their weapons but I gave them a threatening look. We continued walking until we were stopped by the sight in front of us.

Ms. Michiko and Kid, the Shinigami, are fighting. I could feel the bloodlust between them. But they're about to attack each other again when we felt a much stronger presence that can make anyone faint when you're not physically and mentally stable. The four of us were stunned and so as the kids lower our batch.

'Hiroshi,' I heard Mom's voice inside my head so I looked around and I saw her together with Ate Naomi,Kuya Mitsuo at Ate Akira and in front of to them is Sir Hideo who is looking at Ate Michiko and Kid.

We're now inside the Cabin and it feels more peaceful, earlier it felt like we're in the middle of the storm. Seriously, The Great Seven's presence are suffocating, especially Sir Hideo.

Reina,Kana and Hayate are playing with the kids because they've been pestering the three of them to play. I'm helping Mom and Ate Akira to cook food for us, and the rest are on the living room. I can see the happiness in their eyes.

"Hiroshi, can you please give me a spoon?" Mom asked and my attention turned to her.

We're talking while cooking, she's asking about my inventions that are still ongoing. But suddenly I heard something beeping inside my pocket. When I looked at it, it's the small alarm I made to remind me when it's almost time.

Three years... Three more years.

'Time's almost up' I reminded them,

I saw the six of them flinched and I can see how their happy eyes turned into sadness and there's a bitter-sweet smile on their lips. I gave them a small smile when they looked at me.

Time is running, I need to make the remaining time a memorable one.

Three years later...

"Hiroshi! How many times do I have to tell you to not use Reina and Hayate as your lab pigs." That's Mom.

Hayate and Reina probably told her about my new project.

"Mom, it's just a prototype. It didn't even hurt them." I said.

"Even if, Hiroshi. You can kill them, did you know that?" I really can't win with her.

Kaoru is fine for me, it flies fine. Reina and Hayate are just overreacting.

Kaoru is the prototype of my project, it's a plane that can fly faster than an ordinary plane. It can fly you to any destination in 1 or 2 hours.
