"You're wearing slippers," James stated with a chuckle as he helped her put them on.
"No one is going to see my feet so why torture myself, my feet are swollen," She said trying wiggle her toes.
"Well they feel comfortable," he said as he stood and helped her with her earrings he was trying to make everything easier for her, "And the dress does hide them,"
"Ugh it's like paradise down there," she moaned out as he helped her stand.
"Will you be able to walk?"
Alessandra gave him a side glance as he picked her purse up "Please slippers are easier to walk in then heels,"

"Your royal highness you look gorgeous," the photographers said as James and Alessandra stood to have their picture taken, and he was right she truly did look gorgeous James had to stop himself from biting his lips a number of times during their ride from the hotel, with how amazing she looked, he wasn't shaming her or anything but he liked her better with the extra weight and even she admitted numerous times that she looked better with the extra weight although now she wouldn't say that with her belly but she truly did look like a stunner, he knew the pressure would get to her to loose weight but he hoped she wouldn't succumb to the press's bullying and stay at the place where she felt comfortable at.
"Thank you," Alessandra said with a small smile, as they smiled for another minute and then entered the hall.
"Pregnancy looks amazing on you," Victoria commented hugging Alessandra who smiled at her friend.
"And it's also painful I don't want to see heels anywhere near me," she joked laughing but immediately winced as she felt a kick "They don't like my laugh," she joked again making Victoria laugh as the two started catching up, Victoria told her about Estelle and how she had been doing and also on how Maude had been doing after discovering she was pregnant the family had been over the moon, they were having a wedding and a baby, it was an amazing year for them.
During the dinner she was sat besides a man who wouldn't stop talking about lord knows what, but the man kept talking she'd try and listen to Stephanie but the man would just tap her hand to get her attention and then continue talking, she wanted to find whoever arranged the seating as this was not it, when dinner was over she was grateful quickly moving away from the man who she wanted to stab, if she ever sat next to him again she'd simply walk out.
"A dance my lady," one of the guests who had been eyeing her up the whole time without her knowledge asked outstretching his hand.
"Oh I'm not really up for it," she started but he cut her off by taking her hand and leading her to the dance floor where other couples where dancing, but she wasn't comfortable although the shoes were helping she'd been standing for a while now so her feet and back were starting to hurt but here this imbecile was forcing her to dance, what was up with the men here today, did they put something in their drinks.
