The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are delighted to announce the engagement of Prince James to Miss Alessandra Bradford.
The wedding will take place in the Autumn of 2011,. Further details will be announced in due course.
Prince James and Miss Bradford became engaged in December during the holiday season at the Fife family's London home. Prince James has sought the permission of his grandmother the queen and has also informed other members of his family about the engagement. Prince James also sought the permission of Mr and Mrs Bradford, the parents of Miss Alessandra.
Following the wedding Miss Alessandra will become the Princess Of Wales, and the couple will live at Kensington Palace apartment 1, which once belonged to HRH Mary, The Princess Of Wales, the apartment has already underwent massive renovations paid for privately by the Duke of Fife.
