"Actually we're getting married the year after, but forget about the engagement, look at my godson oh he looks so grown" Alessandra said taking Arthur into her arms, "look at that he's not ginger, I'm disappointed, where's the couple of the hour?"

"William is with the other men but Kate is in the kitchen" Kate and William were hosting a engagement dinner for their families, that's why Alessandra and James were at their place.

"I thought you said this dinner was for family that's why I couldn't bring Alex" Pippa said to Kate who immediately looked at Alessandra, "You didn't hear it from me but James proposed last December, their actually announcing the engagement next month"

"So early" Carole added looking at the young girl,"She's a little young isn't she?"

"She's 21" Pippa replied," And every guy who has a eye for women has a crush or has definitely crushed on her, 2009 Miss Britian turned Miss World"

"She was a miss world at such a young age?" Carole asked surprised while scanning Alessandra,"Her sister's also dating a Prince" Kate added.

"Ugh I so don't like that woman" Ingrid said as Alessandra put Arthur down,"She's so controlling, you know when Kate and William used to break up she had a plan to get Pippa and James together, she's probably scheming about getting you and James to break up"

Alessandra laughed as she looked at her friend," Oh come on Ingrid, she can't be that bad"

Ingrid said mocking Carole,"Your family wasn't even invited to her daughters wedding which is in a few months but here she wants an invite to yours, and did you notice she kept staring at us from the moment you entered the room, She's plotting something"

"I'm...I'm still too young" Ingrid rolled her eyes at the statement, she should have just said my mom is still husband hunting for me.

"Are you done with the dress Catherine?" Camilla asked trying to start a conversation seeing as how most or the conversations the ladies had were shut down easily, by simple answers.

"I'm not sure Alessandra what tiara will you be wearing?" So she wasn't sure about her own tiara but wanted to ask Alessandra who hadn't even announced her engagement yet about tiaras, interesting.

"Carrying the fringe tradition, I think it's simple and light for the wedding and we could have a wedding tradition of our own, see some royal families have wedding tradition using veils and tiaras so maybe we can also have our own"

"The fringe is the one Ingrid wore?" Carole asked.

"Yes ma'am and I believe it goes well with any dress" Alessandra replied with a laugh.

"Oh, no I don't mean it in a bad way, it's James decided he wanted to be involved in the wedding and I'm not talking cake or flowers, he wants to help make my wedding dress"

"James" Ingrid gasped as she looked at her brother in law.

"You can't see the wedding dress before the day of the wedding" Ingrid said with a shocked look.

"Oh you mean that, trust me you'll love the dress, I thought women loved it when men got involved with the wedding planing"

"We do we do, but trust me not that involved"

"Are you ready for marriage Alessandra" Camilla asked the young girl who slowly nodded her head, she too wasn't sure what she was getting herself into"I mean I remember when I got married to Charles it took me a while to adjust and now you're in the same position, are you ready for that"

"Let's not talk about wedding outfits, I need 3 outfits, three can you just imagine" Alessandra said shaking her hand causing the women to all laugh.
