My Giant Problem

'Love me not'

"It was bound to come up!" Nelly chirped. She seemed very excited for me to go school shopping. "Yes" Edward agreed. "It's about time our little girl went shopping." Ingoring the emphasis on 'little' I started out the window.

I was just doodling and the car came to a holt. "We are here!" Nelly said very excited. "Is it ok if we give you some money to shop in the human section while we shop alone? I think it's best if you picked out your own supplies." My own supplies! That's news to my ears! I couldn't wait to personalize myself at my new school. "Yes, that sounds awesome!" I pitched in. Edward smiled and handed me my purse. "Your debit card is in there. Feel free to spend however much you like. Make sure to give us a call when you're done.

" Nelly smiled and walked into the Giant section. The store was divided in two; humans on the left giants on the right. Each store was exactly the same except for the size. I've been on the giant store once when I was younger and it was very similar.

I skimmed my purse and realized my cellphone was missing. Panicked, I looked for it outside just to feel a tap on my shoulder. It was the boy I saw on the hallway. His chiseled features staring at me intently. "I think you dropped something" he said with a smile. I blushed and said "T-thank you v-very much." He smiled and went to the Giant section. After blushing so much i was 'turning red'

I hurried into a stationary store. They had all regular stuff. I noticed some stickers and decided they would be adorable on my binder. I snagged some backs supplies and went on to the next store. I took a deep breath for a moment to calm myself down. Wait, what? Did I smell... CINNAMON ROLLS?! Running at top speed, I approached the cinnamon roll vendor.

"Hello the name is Jack" said Jack, a boy who looked to be my age. His silky brown hair and mocha skin caught my attention like nobody else  "Looks like someone really likes sweets."He said in a slight Spanish accent.  I smiled softly and , with my panting breaths, "One medium cinnamon roll and a mango smoothie, please."

Jack headed to some machine and presented a delicious, fresh, piping hot cinnamon roll. He headed to the blender, my eyes not leaving him. He looked up to grab the mangos and noticed me staring at him. Averting his eyes (not before I could see the blush on his cheeks) he finished my snack. "That would be 7.28 please" I have him a 10$ bill. "Keep the rest."

He smiled and waved. Ok clothes shopping. I have maybe 170 bucks left. I could get some cute stuff with that. I headed into a store and saw the cutest shirt ever, as well as dozens as shirts from my favorite anime an video games.

I looked at them in admiration. I ended up buying 2 pairs of jeans, checkered shoes, a hoodie with the Skullgirls characters on it, Tokyo Ghoul and One Piece shirts, and a strawberry hair clip for good luck.

I paid for my items and got a text from mom.

"Hey! We're about to get some lunch! Wanna head to a restaurant?"

"That sounds great. I'll be up front in a few minutes."

"Ok ,hun, have fun! Can't wait to see your swag outfit!!!"

I giggled as she used the world 'swag'
but I appreciated the effort. I was about to leave when I spotted a sale on snacks... They had fruit snacks, granola bars, apple sauce, cinnamon roll bites, fruit juice... Wait!

CINNAMON ROLL BITES!!! I saw a sign that said '5 individual snacks for one dollar'. I grabbed a basket and loaded it with snacks for school lunch, Fruit lunch drinks, and few 'unhealthy' foods that my parents didn't need to know I had.  a pink lunchbox with a mermaid that said 'Stay positive!' caught my eyes.

I paid for my items also left the human section, walking outside to greet my parents. To my surprise, that boy was there again.
He waves hi on my direction. Confused, I turned around. He smiled and opened his hand. I saw a necklace. It has a huge heart in the middle with the words 'Love me not'. I placed on on the ground in front of me and left.

I saw mom and she picked me up and we headed for the car. "So where do we go?"

Me and mom have a cheeky grin and at the same time said "PIZZA!"
