"This is awesome!" Jack said excitedly.
"Roses are my favorite flower!"
"Me too!" I chirped.
We shared a quick smile and went back to planting.
"Ellie" Jack said softly "Would you like to... go on a date with me?"
What?! I was so shocked at this question.
Considering his sweet personality and loving looks, I said the only correct answer.
"Sure, Jack! I'd love to!"
Smiling, he picked me up and placed a small kiss on my head.
"Careful" he said. "These roses are almost as red as you!"
