Nathan POV:
Okay so nobody wants to be my partner. I suppose being a asshole with no morals doesn't get you any friends. I saw the human girl and that boy laughing and discussing ingredients.
He went to the pantry and I took my chances.
"Mind if I join your team?"
She turned around and I laughed sarcastically. I took my fingers and turned her head in my direction so she was looking at me.
"I am speaking to you. I do not have a team. May I join yours?" I asked in a slightly annoyed tone.
She looked really nervous and with squeaky breaths said "Well we-"
"Do not need another partner" A voice from behind me said.
Oh it's Jack. Might as well toy with him.
"Hey Jake do you mind if I join your team? I'm sure your girlfriend wouldn't mind. "
Jack looked at Ellie, now looking scared.
"That's an amazing idea, Nathan! I would love to see you bond with the new students." A voce said to the left of me. Good thing Mr Lund is my cousin. Gonna make this easy.
"The winner gets a special prize! Remember to work together" He said walking away.
"I will chop the strawberries. Do t do anything stupid."
Ellie glanced at me and I give a smile. She quickly jerked her head away. As I was grabbing the indredients, I got fed up with her. What better addition to a cake then a little meat?
Ellie POV:
That guy is really creepy. I don't think I should pay too much attention to him. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him stating at me in a sadistic way. I quickly looked away.
"Damn it" Jack moaned "I forgot the sprinkles."
I laughed for a second then found myself in a bed of flour and sugar.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry" a sarcastic voice said from above me. "Let me help you out of there,baby."
What?
I was placed back on the table,coughing and gagging on the dry ingredient stuck in my throat. Jack and back with the sprinkles with a grin. When he saw me, however, he looked angry.
"What happened to you?" Jack asked, setting the sprinkles on the table.
Nathan picked me up and blew on my face. "She fell in my bowl. Please control your little pet next time."
I felt little droplets prick at my eyes at those words.
"I-I-IM SORRY" I screamed, unable to contain it.
"What in fucks name as the you apologizing for?" Jack asked. "He's the one who should apologize."
Nathan rolled his eyes and said "She said sorry, let's get over it."
I wiped my eyes and nodded.
"O-okay we need to beat the wet ingredients then add the dry ones. We can add some res food coloring and artificial strawberry flavor to make it look like a strawberry cake. "
"At least it's not vanilla anymore" jack snickered.
The cake batter was put into the oven.
