Jack pov:
I walked into Ellie's house with a short sigh. A large man, big muscles and a sculpted jawline sat in a chair, a brunette woman with soft eyes and a big bust. Ellie was on a couch on the coffee table, reading a book. They all were dressed fancy, making me feel undressed.
"Hello, Jack." The man said, no emotion in his voice. "I take it you are saying my daughter, correct?"
I nodded quickly and Ellie waved at me shyly.
"I just need to make something clear." He said, his flatness is missing . He sounded angry, threatening. I wish he was emotionless again.
"You have my permission to date my daughter." He said happily.
The woman stood up and added "If you hurt a single hair on her head, make her cry or even make her frown, I will twist your balls off and throw them in your face." She smiled and said, "Hope you like chicken!"
"H-hey, Ellie."
"Hi Jack."
"May I take you to the table? I-if that's ok with your parents?" They nodded and Ellie smiled. I took her to the table, where once again on the table was a smaller table, and a set of two chairs.
"Honey, why don't you sit with me and Edward?" Her mom asked pulling her closer . I can't blame her for being protective . I mean, her only kid with some random guy she's never seen?
"Shall we eat? I know I can't function without some food in my system."
On the table was a gorgeous assortment of grilled chicken, jasmine rice, green beans, bread rolls and asparagus. It looked delicious.
Her father, Edward as her mom called him, started filling himself and Ellie's plates.
"I'm gonna cut straight to the point, sweetie. Do you love my daughter? " Her mom said, I really need to ask her name.
"I would do absolutely anything for her. I'd protect her with my life, I love her to the end of the Earth, she is my light in the darkness. "
Ellie blushed and said "I love you too, Jack. I'd do anything for you. "
"Geez, no need to be so fuckin dramatic I wanted a single answer. I approve of you two dating fully, and I hope you enjoy the dinner. I mean I spent 2 hours making this shit! Who knew cooking was so hard! "
"Thank you for approving of us. And this chicken is amazing. "
" Thank you, you guys. Your support means the word to me. I love you so much! "
" Yea, yea, yea atone for pie? "
