Chapter 11

Sirius was exactly sitting on Remus lap he was straddling it his legs wrapped around the boys waist as his stared at Remus with no words."How long is this suppose to last?" Remus asked Peter. The smallest boy fished the book they had used previously out of his bag and scanned the page "The batch we used is two days" he said. "Hey one effect is that they can be quite loopey" Peter said. "Loopey, in what way" Lily asked but it was if Sirius answered her question attention "They all want you, but non of them can have you cause your all mine" he sing-songed. "I'm so happy it's a weekend" Remus sighed.

When they finished breakfast and Remus made sure to divert Sirius from his staring to some food he stood up and in seconds Sirius jumped onto Remus' back clinging on as if a backpack. They went to the black lake and sat by there familiar tree. "You know I heard Marlene McKinnon gave a boy a love potion in Hufflepuff once and he wouldn't stop whispering dirty things to her" James mentioned. He then turned to Remus to see his face growing scarlet as Sirius whispered something into his ear. "I guess those rumours were true" he laughed.

His laughter was interrupted by a 'ahumm' and they turned to see McGonagall. "Mr Lupin can I have a word" she asked. Remus nodded and he turned to Sirius and told him to wait.

They walked about twenty meteres and began to talk. "I was just wondering I guess if you could tell me how Mr Blacks doing, just because of the recent affairs you know" she said. "Oh yh well Sirius he's-" Remus was cut off by a very large joyful yell of his name and feeling himself being hit with something and hitting the ground Sirius had come and wrapped himself around Remus. "He's better and now he's quite full of a love potion" Remus sighed trying to stand as Sirius clung to him. "I beg your pardon" she replied. "It was a prank gone wrong, on my behalf so I say the detention is there, but this wears off in a day" he told her.

"Yes detention Monday, but thank you Mr Lupin" she said she did let out a little laugh before walking away.

Remus walked back with Sirius still clung to him. "Sorry" James said. "It's fine" Remus said and he chuckled a bit as Sirius began to play with his hair. The day went on alot like this and Remus only found a few moments of calm. He went for his patrol and thought he finnaly had a bit of piece but then soon found Sirius had tagged along when he was pulled into a classroom by a giggling mess who kissed him. "Hey hot stuff" he said. "As much as I like this I don't think it's fair on your part so we can do all this stuff when your back to normal, for now off to bed" Remus said walking with the boy back to there dorm.

The next day was the exact same but finnaly when evening came when they were all sitting in the common room and Sirius was cuddled close to Remus looking into the fire he out of nowhere turned to James and said. "Not going to lie I was amazing at that quidditch practice" he said. They were all stunned. "The potion wore off" Peter chimed. "Oh yeah" Sirius said and then he repeated the words a bit more angrily. Sirius was not impressed.

Monday evening Sirius had just finished his Checkup with Pompfrey and Remus his detention with McGonagall and they walked into one another. "Oh hey, I totally forgot about you being out this late" Remus chuckled. Sirius then guestered to a nearby empty classroom and they walked in. "You said we can do all this stuff when your back to normal and here I am" Sirius smiled as he sat on a desk. Remus chuckled and came over and kissed the shorter boy. "Well hey hot stuff" Sirius chuckled and in return Remus blushed. "I've missed you so much" Sirius said looking up at the taller boy. "Me to" Remus replied.

"Sad to say this but we better head back" Sirius said. The boys walked back just there with one another.

The next morning seemed to bring on what would seem like a normal day yet it did not. Sirius was surprised in the morning to see his owl Otter swooping down upon the Great hall. He dropped the letter nipped Sirius' ear and left. Sirius turned to check if James had one but he didn't so probaly nothing from the Potters. He didn't recognise the handwriting after reading the first sentence the words seemed to turn to blurs before he could read he focused and began to read:

The hearing against Walburga Black will take place on February 21st at 11am. You shall arrive there escorted by a member of staff and say your half.

He then realised another letter next to it which he took out.

Dear Sirius,

I will be bringing you to the hearing of Walburga. Please meet me infront of the great hall at 9am that morning.

Minerva McGonagall

That was tommorow.

Sirius told Remus and Remus tried to keep the other boy calm but that seemed not to help. Sirius last time testifying ended with his interaction with the cruitatus curse from his father.

He then seemed to realise something his brother, his mother and his father all had used that curse on him. Then the same sick feeling welled in his chest everytime he came to mind, his brother. Last time he saw him he was trying to kill him, probaly still was but it seemed to have died away and he hoped that was true. His brother was one of those things that would swirl up in his recurring nightmares, he hoped to never see him again.
