After talking to Chris, i felt a little better that I told him how i felt about what happened. Hopefully tonight will just be a nice dinner and conversation. It was now 7pm, so i decided it's time that i start to get ready for the date with Chris. I decided to wear something casual since he didn't give me a specific dress code. I went into the bathroom to clean my self up. I came out and lotioned my body, did my make up, put my outfit on, and checked if i had all my necessities. Then i made my way to the living room. When i walked into the living room, i saw J laying on the couch eating popcorn, and watching her favorite movie "White Chicks". I went and sat down next to her, when she saw me her eyes widened.

"Where are you going beautiful?" she asked eagerly

"Oh...I'm just going out for a little dinner with the man that made me his dinner the first time." I said with a smirk

"Are you serious about this guy?" she asked me

"I like him..but i like Trey too. I'm just testing the waters boo." i said

"Well, make sure you do your research on these men before becoming serious with them. You'll be surprised of what you find out in the long run." she said

I just sat there and thought about what she said, until i heard the doorbell ring. I got up and fixed my clothes, then i walked to the door. I opened it and i saw Chris.

"Hi Tania." he said with a smile

"Hi Chris." i said with a smile

"Are you ready to go?" he asked

"Yeah sure..let me say bye to my friend..oh come in and meet her." i said taking his hand pulling him inside

"Jamila...come here please." i said

Jamila got up from the couch with a smile, but when she got in front of us, her smile went away and became a mad and annoyed look when she saw Chris.

"Jamila this is Chris. Chris this is my best friend Jamila." i said

"Nice to meet you Jamila." Chris said with a forceful smile

What is wrong with him?

"Pleasure is all mine." Jamila said nonchalantly

It became very awkward, so i decided it was time to leave.

"Well...Jamila I'll see you later boo. Don't wait up." i said as a grabbed Chris hands and walked to the door

"Ok girl. Be careful. Bye Chris." she said in a sarcastic and disgusted tone

"Bye Jamila." he mumbled

I'm really not understanding what's going on.

Chris and I walked to his car. He opens to door for me i enter, then he went to his side. When he buckled his seat belt. He pulled off. The car ride was very quiet. I was just thinking about the way Chris and Jamila were acting. Do they know each other or something? I decided to not say anything, and just enjoy the night. Chris finally pulls up in front of a restaurant. He gets out and comes to my side and opens the door. He gives the valet his keys and holds my hand as we walk to the restaurant. When we get inside, the waiter immediately escorts us to a table and put our menus in front of us, then excused her self. Chris and I just sat at the table quietly as we look through the menu. Another waitress came to take our orders. She was a beautiful plus sized woman, she was giving Chris a certain look, obviously she knows him. I told her what i wanted with a smile. However, Chris told her what he wanted and never looked at her after she came to our table. She gave Chris another certain look, then took our menus and walked away.

I just hope everything ends well tonight.
