I woke up with a small head ache. I checked the time and it was 10am, and I had missed calls from my brother, Trey, and Chris. I didn't call anyone back, I just decided to go to the bathroom and take care of my hygiene. When I got out the bathroom, I lotioned my body, put on a maxi dress, and put my hair in a messy bun. Then i left my room and made my way to the living room. When i walked into the living room, i saw Jamila in the kitchen cooking breakfast. I just sat down on one of the chairs near the counter quietly. Jamila turned around and yelled because she didn't know that I was sitting there.

"T, you scared me girl!"she yelled with her hand over her chest

"Sorry, I just wanted to watch you cook." i said with a smile

"Well Goodmorning..how did you sleep?" she asked putting some scrambled eggs on the plates

"Goodmorning, and I slept well..how about you?"i asked

"Great..i guess." she said with a smile

"Oh..last night you had something to tell me..right?" i asked her

"N-nah, it's nothing serious T." she said with a weak smile

"J, i don't know why you're acting like I'm a stranger and you're hesitant to tell me things. You know I won't judge you."i told her

"I know J...when I'm ready to tell you, i promise i will."she said with a smile as she handed me my plate

"Whatever you say boo"i said as i took a fork full of eggs

After a little moment of silence, Jamila spoke

"How was your date?" she asked taking a sip of juice

"It was...ok." i said after thinking a while

"Just ok?" she asked curiously

"Yeah..it was a bit awkward at first. The waitress kept giving him a certain look, like she knew him from somewhere." i said taking a sip of juice

"That's weird..what did he say about it?" she asked

"He didn't even look at her...i didn't even ask any questions." i said shrugging

"Look, if you don't ask they won't tell. So if your skeptical about something, it's better you ask from the start so you won't be surprised later." she said taking my plate

"You're right, i just wanted the date to go well." i said looking at my nails

"T, you know I love you, your like a sister to me. I don't want to see you get hurt by these so called men boo. Don't let the sexy face and body fool you." she said with a serious face and tone

"I know, I'm just trying to figure out what's real and fake. I'm dating two men, that i can honestly say i really like. So I'm really torn. Trey treats me well..then again Chris treats me well. I'm just so confused." i said before taking a deep breath

"T your a young woman, and your not used to getting this type of attention. So it's normal for you to be a bit torn and confused. I just want you to be happy and make the right choice. Trust me..i wish i made better choices." she said shaking her head

"So your not dating anyone now.?" i asked her

"Nah..i took a little break. The last man i really liked played me to the max. So, I'm trying to get all my emotions in order before going through that relationship stuff again." she said

"I never asked..but who was the man you were arguing with on the phone that day?" i asked curiously

"U-um no one serious. He's an irrelevant factor in my life now." she said

"Married?" i asked

"Yeah..and he had kids. He told me that he was very single, which obviously was a lie." she said looking down

"How did you find out?" i asked her

"I saw him with holding hands with a plus size woman, and three kids walking next to them." she said

"Damn J...do I know him?. I asked curiously

"U-um maybe." she said playing with her fingers

"What's his name?" i asked

"C-chris." she mumbled

"Excuse me?" i asked making sure i heard her correctly

"Yes J... Chris. That was the man I was arguing with, the man that dissed me when i told him i saw hime with the woman and kids, the man that made me hate all me." she said crying

"I'm sorry T..i didn't want you to find out like this." she said trying to touch my hand

I quickly moved my hand and just went upstairs and slammed the door. I laid down trying to gather my thoughts. That why Jamila and Chris were acting wierd around each other? Thats why that woman was looking at him like that? I knew something was wrong. Now, people think that just because I'm a church girl and have never been in a relationship, that I don't know anything. Chris got another thing coming, if he thinks he's going to play me. I'm gunna make him my side piece before he makes me his. He's gunna become my little slave. I'm not gunna string Trey along, because i really like him, hopefully he's a good man. Chris get ready, because you just met your perfect match baby.
