Nola got ready for dinner in her room, she was definitely being petty by making sure she looked hot as hell. It was silly behaviour but she didn't care. If Pierre was going to be silly, then Nola was going to show him how silly he was.
Nola stepped out of her room to Charlotte and Charles waiting near my door, and they went downstairs to a car waiting for them outside the hotel to take them to the restaurant they were eating at. When they arrived Pierre was standing by his car, Charles stepped out of our car and helped Nola and Charlotte out one after the other, he then put his arm around Charlottes waist and walked ahead to Pierre, they greeted each other before walking ahead and leaving Nola and Pierre awkwardly standing outside, the umbrella keeping her dry from the spitting rain. Nola looked him the eye, the look was cold. Nola was on the defensive, she was guarded, she didn't want to be hurt.

"Wow, you look absolutely amazing" Pierre said, stepping forward and trying to hug her, he had missed her, but he knew not speaking to her was going to be an issue. His arms went round Nola and she kept herself stiff. As much as she wanted to melt into his embrace, apparently he had that instant effect on her, but she stood firm. She was glad he appreciated what she was wearing, it was for him. "What's wrong?" He asked
"What's wrong?" Nola repeated
"Is this about the pictures?" He asked his arms dropping down and he stepped back. Pierre knew what it looked like, but never would he do that to Nola, they weren't 'dating' officially, something he wished they were doing, but none the less he only cared about her, he only liked Nola, so he didn't entertain anyone else.
"What else" Nola said, she wasn't angry, she was disappointed, she looked up at Pierre, nearly melting at his eyes. He was standing under the umbrella with her and they were very close together, it was stirring up things in Nola.
"Nola that was nothing, I promise you. I missed you like crazy and I was blowing off some steam with friends, the girl is a friend. She's a girlfriend of one of my friends actually" he explained. Nola's brain screamed at her to just take his word for it, let it go and have a nice dinner with him, her brother and her friend.
"Right, and yet you still didn't text or call or anything?" She asked, she wanted answers, and that was the second thing bothering her, if the pictures or the incident was nothing then why had he gone radio silent. Nola hated how jealous and annoyed she was
"I don't have an answer, I was busy but I still should of spoken to you. But you have to know I missed you like crazy"
"You responded to Charles well enough" Nola sighed, which was true, he had spoken to Charles accepting a dinner invite and still didn't message Nola. Communication was a big thing for her, and right now he sucked at it
"I know I'm sorry. Please don't write this off before it's even started" he said, Nola locked eyes with him again, the blue meeting her green ones
"Before what's started?" She asked simply. She couldn't believe he didn't have a reasonable explanation for not speaking to her. Pierre was annoyed at himself, he just got caught up in spending time with friends and training, but even then if he missed her so much, a simple text would of gone a long way
"This, us" Pierre said gesturing between the two of them
"Pierre there's nothing, we kissed, we talked, we hung out and now it's just non existent. I don't want to be like this. I want to love and be loved and I thought you might be the person to do that. Charles always goes on about you being this nice amazing person but a nice person doesn't say he's missed someone and then doesn't respond" Nola said, she was letting out all her frustrations, because she battled so long with what was right and when she finally got past it, he wasn't there
"It's not non existent Nola. I like you, I really do" he said, Nola could hear the emotion in his voice and it softened her a little bit. It was so unnecessary for her to be so bitter, and she knew she was doing it just to protect herself but what was she actually protecting herself from here.
"Actions speak louder than words" Nola sighed as she looked down at her shoes. Pierre stepped forward and took Nola's chin in his hand and lifted her head up to meet his gaze before placing his lips on hers, she wanted an action, here it was. Nola didn't expect him to do that, they were outside in the open outside the restaurant, anyone could walk by, but she also wasn't complaining, she liked Pierre and him kissing her just melted away all the disappointment and bad energy. Pierre's hand went along Nola's jaw and cupped the back of her neck. Nola placed her hand through his hair pulling him to her, he did the same pulling Nola in. Pierre loved kissing Nola, he smiled a little before pulling away and rested his forehead against hers.
"If I have to spend every minute of everyday showing you that I like you, then I will. Please, don't give up yet. I really like you, and I don't want you to hate me. Those pictures spun it round and I'm not like that" he said
"And the radio silence?" Nola mumbled
"I will text you every minute of the day, I will call you, I will talk to you, I will show you"
"Well you better start showing me then" Nola sighed and he smiled
"One kiss is all it takes apparently"
"Don't bet on it Gasly" She said and smiled. The Pierre effect had appeared once again, Nola let go of Pierre and walked away from him towards the restaurant. He followed behind closely and they sat down with Charles and Charlotte, Pierre sitting next to Nola, with Charlotte opposite. Charlotte and Charles smiled at the pair who seemed more comfortable, Charles had told Charlotte to come inside and give them time and by the looks of it, it worked

"Have we made up?" Charles asked, Pierre smiled causing Charles to cheer and Nola to blush as Pierre put his arm round the back of Nola's chair "Happy Nola then" Nola stuck her tongue out at her brother
"I've ordered your drinks for you" Charlotte said, as the waiter walked over with drinks for the table.

After everyone finished dinner, Pierre leaned over towards Nola. Charlotte and Charles were in conversation, and didn't notice. Pierre's lips brushed Nola's cheek as he whispered in her ear, his hand was on her arm and he felt her shiver, it had the desired effect he wanted. He was glad he could still do that to her
"Don't go home yet, I want to show you something" Nola nodded. She didn't know what he wanted to do, but she had to give him a chance, Pierre lived here so he knew his way around, any chance to spend time with him she wasn't going to waste, against her better judgment she agreed without thinking. Pierre and Charles sorted out the bill while Charlotte and Nola started walking towards the exit, she already told her she was leaving with Pierre and not them.

"Tomorrow we're going shopping, you're filling me in on everything" Charlotte said to Nola
"How do you know there's anything to fill you in with?" She asked
"Because I'm not stupid" she said laughing. Nola gave her a hug as Pierre and Charles came outside, Charles gave Nola his usual bear hug and then Pierre guided her over to his car, his hand on her waist. Pierre opened the passenger door for her and let her get in before shutting it and walking round to his side of the car and getting in.
"Are you kidnapping me?" Nola asked him, he chuckled at her
"Kidnapping would be against your will, you got in this car voluntarily" he said joking, Nola poked his arm for his silliness as he sped off through the Italian streets, the low evening sun making a break through the rain for the first time all week, the roads fairly quiet. The music in the car played low, enough to hide any silence. Nola felt quite calm and relaxed in Pierre's presence, even though she was still slightly annoyed and apprehensive she had to give him the benefit of the doubt and realistically she hadn't given him enough of a chance, he was right, she can't dismiss this before it's even started, she could be the happiest person with Pierre. She also realised that she was her own worst enemy for sabotaging. Everyone else could see and was right, Nola currently had been wrong. She already knew how she felt around Pierre and she felt safe, and cared for, and calm. Those things don't lie. Your instincts are always right on, she had to see what this could potentially be and not sabotage herself.
