James and Sirius had their heads together. Whispering. That's never a good sign.

"Oi! What are you two planning?" I called out to them.

They both looked up to me. "Don't worry about it." James replied. And smirked.

"Oh. Now I'm worried. Just. What is it?"

"No saying. You'll know soon enough." Sirius replied. He also smirked.

I sighed. "This is another one of your pranks? Isn't it?"

"Maybe." James said.

"Maybe not." Sirius added. Still smirking.

I shook my head. I'm going to have to keep on eye on those two. I looked down at my breakfast. Stabbing some pancakes with my fork.

It's been a couple of months. Since the Whomping Willow incident. Life was fine. Nothing exciting happened. Well. Except. For when James tried to ask Lily out. For Valentine's Day. It didn't not work. Meanwhile. I spent Valentine's day with Remus and Sirius. We just sat near the Great Lake. They were so cute.

Also. There is another thing happening. In a couple more months. Eight more weeks. Until O.W.L.s. Eight. More. Weeks. I couldn't believe it. This Year was flying by. I wish it wouldn't. But. It was. And now? I was getting pretty anxious. All the time. I didn't get much sleep. Some nights. I got none. My leg was bouncing. All the time. The upcoming tests. Were all that I could think about. I wanted to do good on them. But. What if I failed? I don't want to fail.

I poked at my pancakes. "These pancakes need something." I muttered to myself. I looked over. At the boy sitting next to me. Remus. I smirked. I knew what I needed. But. I would have to be sneaky. Really sneaky. Luckily. I was a Slytherin.

Once I made sure Remus wasn't looking. I slowly slipped my hand into one of the pockets. In his bag. I pulled out a few of the things I needed from in there. Then. I slowly took my hand out. I carefully undid the wrappers. And put the pieces of chocolate. In between the stacks of my pancakes. I chuckled. I got away with it.

If there was one thing. Remus Lupin was possessive of. It was chocolate. He loved chocolate. With a passion. The boys had to actually hide their chocolate from him. Otherwise. Remus will eat it. Unfortunately for him. I also loved chocolate. It was my favorite food. Also. Unfortunately for him. I knew all his hiding spots for his chocolate. So. I was always stealing them. He has never caught me. Not once.

"You ready for Care of Magical Creature first?" Remus asked me.

I looked up at him. "Yeah. I love that class. Especially in the mornings. Do you know Creature we're studying today?"

"No clue, though I do think Kettleburn said something about Kelpies."

"I love Kelpies. I think they're fascinating Creatures. Kelpie, or water Kelpie, is a shape-shifting water spirit inhabiting the lochs and pools of Scotland. It is a Celtic legend; however, analogues exist in other cultures. It is usually described as a black horse-like creature, able to adopt human form." Remembering the description about them. In a book I read. "The way they drag their victims to the bottom of the lake or pond or river. And then eat their prey. It's kinda cool."

"You know quite a bit about them."

"Yeah. I read about them. In a book somewhere." I lowered my voice. For the next thing I was going to say. "We didn't learn about Kelpies in my time. Not yet. Anyways. Since there are none around Hogwarts. I guess. In this time. There is."

"Wonder if there going to be on our O.W.L.s?"

"Maybe. I don't know. I think Kettleburn said something about Knarls on the test. But. He didn't say what else."
