I woke up. The sunlight shining in my eyes. I groaned and rolled over. Wait? Sunlight? I bolted up and jumped out of bed. I ran to the window to see the grounds of Hogwarts. And the Sun just peaking out of the trees. Not the Black Lake. I looked around and saw the red. Red was Gryffindor. But I was a Slytherin. Did someone prank me? Who ever did this was going to pay. They were about to see what kind of Slytherin I was. I went for my wand. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a paper near someone's bed. I picked up the paper. I looked at the date and went to throw it back on the floor. But I stopped. And looked at the date again. September 2nd, 1975. Huh? 1975? I frowned. Then I remembered. Everything that happened last night. It all came rushing back now. I sighed and shook my head. I was so stupid sometimes.

I went back to my bed, and stopped at my trunk. I grabbed my robes and headed to the bathroom. To shower. Thankfully. None of the other girls were awake yet. All were still asleep. In the shower I thought of my day. And how it was going to go. It should be somewhat normal. Just going to classes. Going through the day. The only thing I had to watch out for. Was not to accidentally follow the Slytherins. Just stick to the Gryffindors.

After my shower. I walked out of the bathroom. As soon as I stepped out. A brown blur shot passed me and into to bathroom. Slamming the door. I raised my eyebrows and shook my head.

"Don't worry about Marlene. She's always in a rush." A voice said behind me.

I turned around and my eyes widened slightly. It was a girl that I knew very well. A girl who I've only seen pictures of. Lily Evans. My mother. I was seeing my mother for the first time in person. Damn.

I blinked. "Um. Yeah. It's fine. I'm like that too. Sometimes." I chuckled. Trying not to sound awkward.

She laughed too. We even have the same laugh.

"Yeah. I'm Lily by the way. Lily Evans. You're Aspen Wolfe, right?" She said, holding out her hand. I took it and shook.

"Yup. That's me."

"I was gonna say hi last night, but by the time I got here, you were already asleep."

"Yeah. I was really tired from last night. I was gone the moment I hit the pillow. Sorry."

"No, no. It's fine. I get it. I was tired too."

I smiled at her. She smiled back.

"Anyway. I'm the Gryffindor Prefect. I assume you've already met Remus?"

"Yeah. I met him last night."

"Good. He's a really nice guy."

I chuckled. "Yeah. He is."

"Well, then. I guess I should introduce you to the rest of the girls here. This is Dorcas Meadowes, over there is Mary McDonald, and the one in the bathroom is Marlene McKinnon." Lily said. Pointing to each girl in turn. Or in Marlene's case. The bathroom.

"Hi. Nice to meet you all. I'm Aspen Wolfe." I waved and smiled. The three girls also smiled.

"It's nice to meet you too. I like your eyes." Dorcas replied.

"Thank you."

"Your left eye looks a lot like Lily's." Mary observed.

"I agree." Dorcas agreed.

Lily looked at my eye. "Yeah. They look exactly the same color. That's so cool."

"Thanks." I chuckled.

"What's so cool?" A new voice said. Out of the corner of my eye. I saw Marlene.

"That Aspen's left eye is the exact same color as mine." Lily told the girl.
