Three days! THREE DAYS! Three days. Until all the Fifth Years. Take their Ordinary Wizarding Levels. Three. Days. Technically less than that. Because it's Saturday morning right now. I can't believe it. Everything is moving so fast. It seems like just yesterday. I was thrown into 1975. I can't believe the school Year's almost over. I wish it wasn't.
Currently. I'm sitting at the Gryffindor Table. It's breakfast. The owls. That bring our letters. Were to be arriving any second now. Don't know if I'm getting any mail. I didn't write any fake letters to myself. But. Doesn't mean I still won't get any letters. Remus and Sirius. When they found out how I write my own letters. Started writing me letters. So as to not have me writing so much. It was sweet. Of them. To do it. Their letters were fun to read. It was basically all nonsense. They wrote random things. Remus usually wrote about his day. What he was thinking about. But. It was Sirius. That made me laugh. He would write about his day too. As well as his thoughts. But. The thoughts made me laugh. He would write jokes. Pranks that he wanted to do. Or. Remus. He wrote about Remus. All. The. Time. Telling me all the stuff he liked about him. What Remus did to make him blush. All the cute things he did. It was really adorable. And I always wrote back. It was too much fun.
Having said this. The owls have arrived. I watched them. Mostly everyone watched them. Sometimes. It was nice. To watch them. Flying around the Great Hall. I saw a pretty. Golden colored. Barn owl. And. It was heading. Straight for me. I smiled. As it dropped the letters in front of me.
I picked up the first one. I recognized the handwriting. Remus. I smiled. And opened it.
Dear Aspen,
How are you doing? I hope you're all right. I hope you're not stressing too much about O.W.L.s. You will do wonderful on them. You are very smart. And good with a wand. I know you will do amazing. Try not stress too much. You will do well. I promise.
Good luck on the O.W.L.s,
Remus Lupin
I grinned. Leave it to him. To give me encouragement. That's what I loved about Remus. He always looked on the bright side. Always offering words of encouragement. I took out a piece of parchment. And a quill. And wrote a quick letter back.
Dear Remus,
To answer your question. I'm doing ok. Yes. I am stressed out for O.W.Ls. They're in a couple of days. Don't tell me you aren't worrying about them too. I know you are. You will do well on them too. I promise.
Good luck to you too,
Aspen Potter Wolfe
I folded the letter. Looked around. And made sure nobody was really looking. Then. Dropped the letter. In front of his plate. He was sitting to the right of me. So. I could do it. Quickly. I looked over at him. And smirked. He shook his head. And grabbed the letter.
Meanwhile I took the next letter in front of me. Sirius.
Dear Aspen,
Everything is wonderful. The weather is nice. And the school Year is almost over, though, I wish it wasn't. But, I plan on spending the Summer with James. So, it shouldn't be too bad.
Now. On to the part of these letters, that I know you love, and will make fun of me later for them. To be honest. I like when you make fun of me for them. But, here you go.
Did you see Remus the other night? Reading a book, with concentration on his face. How he frowns when he's really focused on something. He looked so adorable. It took a lot in me, not to go right up to him and kiss him, right then and there.
