natalie's pov
"Seriously get the fuck away from me right now." I sighed as I carried the files on my hip. I pressed the elevator button to go up.
"Not until you talk to me." He grunted.
I just shook my head and watched the floors change as the elevator dropped to the floor. I currently was getting files from HR for Graham and Mark must of told the whole building to look out for me because not even a second after I set foot on the floor there he was nagging me.
I felt his chest on my shoulder. "Baby talk to me."
I ignored him, he's breathe was hot and it was pissing me off. I was having such a good ass day until now. The elevator dings and the doors opened. I step in and press the button for Grahams floor. "Goodbye Mark."
He stopped the doors and stepped in. He waited until the doors closed before grabbing my wrist and yanking me to him. "Natalie," His tone was warning. "I will not have my girl going on a date with that Fucker."
I snorted and yanked my arm away from him. "Let's not forget who put me on the fucking market in the first place." I hissed.
He opened his kouth to say something else but the door dinged open and there stood Graham. His eyes flickered between us. "Is there a problem here?"
"No Fitzgerald, there's not." Mark snapped as he turned to face him. Only Graham wasn't looking at him but at me. I just gave him a tilt of the head and exited the elevator. "Natalie, our talk?"
I turned to look at him. "Later Mark, I'm working."
With that I turned away from both of them and went down the hall to the office. I pushed the door open just ask my name got called.
"por el amor de Dios! What the fuck do you want!" I turned around to see Graham instead of Mark. His eyebrows were raised.
"Woah woah, I come in peace". He held up his hands.
I sighed and placed the file folders on his desk. I turned to face him as I sat on the edge of the desk. I pinched the bridge of my nose. "I'm ...I'm sorry Graham..I'm stressed out."
He chuckled as he walked towards me. He took my face in his hands and tilted my head up. "Sweetheart, this morning I left you very very much without stress."
I snorted.
"Why are you stressed now? I could help". He smirked.
I pushed him away from me and snorted again. "Because of that sorry excuse of a man". I waved my hand towards the door as I walked around his desk and plopped in his chair.
He followed my lead and walked around his desk. He pushed over some stuff and sat on his desk. He had this stupid smirk on his face.
I rolled my eyes. "What?" He didn't say anything.
"What?" I pushed his leg with my foot.
He tilted his head to the left. "You look so damn perfect in my chair baby girl".
I just giggled. "Shut up and get back to work." I shoved him as I got up.
For the rest of the day Graham kept reminding me of our trip to Figi this weekend and kept promising me time to buy clothes and pack just to get me through the day. I thought it was sweet of him, especially since Mark kept calling the office. Not to mention that idiot sent at least five bouquets of flowers up here.
It wasn't time for me to leave yet but Graham told me to go ahead and leave. I grabbed my purse and headed for the door. "Hey!"
I turned around to look at him.
He was leaning back in his chair, his hands were intertwined. "Promise you'll meet me in the airport at 6am Thursday morning?"
I rolled my eyes and just looked at him. "Of course I will be there".
"Good," He stood up and pointed. "I'm gonna throw these away". My eyes flickered towards the flowers in the corner.
I waved my hand as I left. "Fine by me"
I was heading out of the building and saying goodbye to the lady at the front desk when I got violately yanked back by my hair. "What the fuck?" I whipped around and found Mark at the other end.
"Natalie I've been trying to be fucking nice this entire time, but I need to falk to you."
"Mark, get the fuck away from me and leave me alone". I sighed as I went to walk away.
He yanked my arm. He was gripping it hard. "Ow Mark, what the fuck. Let go."
He hissed. "I will not be asking you again."
I ripped my arm away from him making my arm burn. "Leave me.alone Mark, seriously."
Before I knew it there was a loud echo throughout the room. The new desk assistant had gasped. "Miss Jackson!"
My hand went to my face, it burned. I had tears at the brim of my eyes. I looked at Mark. "Did you just hit me?"
His eyes were different, it's like something snapped. He started hysterically laughing. "Baby I've warned you several times." He hit me again before grabbing my hair. "You've avoided me all day, now you're going to shut the fuck up and listen to me."
I felt anger well up in me. So much so I could feel the tears sliding down my face. This fucker thinks he can just hit on women? Especially me? He has another thing coming.
Out of the corner of my eye I could see the assistant on the phone. She was whispering into it. Her eyes flickering between us as I shoved away from him. I could feel the hair rip from my head. When it turned to face him there was a chunk of hair sitting in his hand.
"You bitch," He laughed, he disregarded my hair in his hand as he walked towards me. There were people in the lobby and security rushed down the hallway. "You think that you're took good for me huh?"
"Stay the fuck away from me!" I choked out. He reached forwarded and grabbed my throat.
"You think that your pus*sy is that fucking good don't you?! You think you're so much better than me, you think I can't get anyone else? Fuck you, you're a whore!" He was tighting his grip around my throat.
"M-mark, let go!" I was trying to wringle my fingers between his hands and my throat. Things were going blotty, I can't see. Just as fast as I felt my feet getting lifted off the ground, I was falling on my ass.
I had to blink several times before there was a clear image of Graham beating the shit out of Mark. They were exchanging blows before Graham was on top of him hit after hit. People were screaming.
"Gra...graham" my voice was so faint, it hurt to talk bit it was as if through all the noise he heard me. He stopped hitting Mark and turned to look at me. He got up and ran towards me as my vision blurred again and it went black.
