Aria's POV

Where am I? I couldn't find the strength to open my eyes.

"Wake up baby. We miss you." I heard Ezra's soft voice.

Strangely I was calm.

I'm not ready to face the world yet. I thought to myself as everything went dark again.

Ezra's POV

"What just happened?" I asked the doctor, trying to contain my fear.

"Stay calm sir."

How can I stay calm in a time like this?

Suddenly it was like Aria decided she was done.

The heart monitor began to pick up the pace.

Quickly before I knew it doctors were rushing in out of no where kicking me out.

The blood in Aria's face drained as the door between us closed.

Line break.

"Any news on Aria?" I heard Spencer's voice ask me as her heels clicked against the tiled floor.

"She's stable right now." I looked up trying to contain the shock in my voice.

"Where were you? You completely went off the raider when Aria needed you most. We haven't heard from you in months. You missed Maddie's birthday party last night. Your own god daughters birthday Spencer. Where were you all this time?" I asked with a little too much force in my voice.

"I-" I heard Spencer start before I interrupted.

"Forget it."

"I just want to say I'm sorry." Spencer said before walking away.

"Wait." I grabbed her arm softly.

"You can't run away again. You're stuck here." I smiled.

"Ezra Fitzgerald?" I heard as I lowered my head.

"We lost your baby's heart beat for a second. But right now everything is going smoothly. Except for the fact that she still hasn't woken up yet."

"Baby?" Spencer grinned at me.

"She's pregnant?"

"Yeah." I laughed softly.

"Where's Maddie?"

"Hanna took her back to her house a little while ago."

"Oh. Cool."

My heart jumped when the doctor called my name again. "Ezra Fitzger-"

"Fitz." I corrected.

"Fitz. Okay well, do you want to see her?" The doctor smiled.

"Talking to her will increase her chances of waking up faster." She added moving aside as I walked in.

"Hi sweetheart. I miss you, Maddie, and everyone else does too." I whispered to my fiancée grabbing her hand.

Softly I felt her weak hand try to squeeze my hand back.

"Doctor! Doctor!" I screamed.

"She moved!"

"Are you sure?"

Of course I was sure.

"Yes. I'm positive." I nodded eagerly.

"Sir, I don't see any changes." She said looking at Aria's monitor.

"I swear. She did."

"She probably did." She said padding my shoulder and walking out.

Line break.

"I think we found the cause of her fainting." Doctor freeman said to me walking out of her office.

"What was it."

"She has no food in her system. Like she hasn't eaten in days. Low blood sugar and protein." She mumbled.

"She wouldn't do that."

"We need to get some food into her system as soon as possible. Also I have a lead on why she might not be waking up." She said.

I looked at her to continue.

"I've run some tests on her and it seems that her brain doesn't exactly want to wake up. She's preventing herself from waking up. Is it okay if I run some brain tests on her to see if she has unusual actively in her brain?"

"Yes, yes do whatever you have to. I just want my Aria back." I said biting my nails.

"Okay I'll be right back!"
