(Aria's pov)

"Aria?" I heard Ella call me from downstairs as my eyes flutter open.

I shivered as my feet touched the ice cold floor.

I stepped out my room, my brown curls bouncing as i jogged down the stairs into my kitchen.

"Morning." I murmured.

The first word I've breathed in weeks.

I locked myself in my room with 'Fitzgerald'. The book, not the father of my children.

I missed Maddie. She's been staying with Ezra. I don't know how to explain her baby brother had left life. If i don't even know.

"How are you feeling?" Ella asked.

I nodded my head indicating an 'okay' and grabbed some toast and walked upstairs.

"Aria?" Ella called me from downstairs.

I stuck my head out my door to her response.

"Somebody's here for you honey." Ella said sing song-y.

I walked downstairs curious who would be here for me.

I stood in my kitchen wondering who was here and where.

"In the living room." Ella said.

I walked quietly into my living room to see Ezra Fitz sitting on my couch. Ezra was the last person i actually talked to.

"Hello Aria." Ezra said as he stood up to greet me.

I nodded in response.

"Maddie has been wondering where her mother is." Ezra said sitting back down as i sat next to him.

"How are you feeling?" Ezra asked.

"Not bad. I've been locking myself up in my room with a book everyday." I breathed.

"Any one in particular?" Ezra asked.

" 'The Beautiful and Damned.'" I replied.

"Would you like me to bring Maddie by?" Ezra asked.

"Not yet." I whispered.

"Is my mother looking at us?" I asked feeling the stare of her mother.

"Uh yeah." Ezra looked over to Ella.

"Can i talked to you somewhere where she isn't listening to my every word?" I asked.

"Just name the time and place." Ezra smiled getting up.

"Now. My bedroom." I said pulling Ezra's arm.

"What are you doing?" Ezra laughed as we ran up the stairs.

I pulled Ezra in laughing as I closed my door.

"I miss you." I laughed.

"I miss you too." Ezra said.

"I need you in my life." I breathed.

"What are you talking about?" Ezra asked.

"I haven't muttered a word since the last time I've seen you. You bring out the light in me." I said.

"You don't need me to bring the light out of you. You are so bright." Ezra smiled.

"Please forgive me." I asked.

"For what?" Ezra asked.

"Everything. Our son. Cutting you out. Making you miss out of Maddie's whole-" Ezra cut me off before i could finish.
