Ezra's POV
"We got the results!" I heard Aria's doctor's annoying peppy voice say.
"And..."
"Well... It'll be easier to tell when she wakes up. But I'm not diagnosing her, but... I think she's depressed."
No shit Sherlock.
"Do you know if it's serious."
"No. I don't even know if she's actually depressed. Tell me. How has she been acting at home before all this happened."
Silence.
"Ezra... This will help her. If she's done anything to harm herself or..."
"Well... She's acted a little off after the baby died."
"Off how?" She asked grabbing a note pad.
"I don't know."
"I want to have her see a psychologist when she wakes up."
"Okay." I said more to myself then to her.
Line break.
I walked into my fiancée's hospital room again for the fifth time. I lightly took her hand in mine and gave it a squeeze.
Pulling out To Kill A Mockingbird and started reading.
"...Maybe he doesn't have anywhere to run off to..." I let out a sigh closing the book.
I closed my eyes for a minute holding Aria's hand in mine.
Her heart monitor had started to pick up the pace. Again. Doctors rushing in throwing me out. Again.
Is this how it's going to be from now on? I thought as the door closed between us. Again.
