Chapter Nine

"Mom?" Aria asked.

"Aria? Is that really you?" Ella asked in disbelief.

"Its really me mom. I missed you." Aria said.

"Baby. I missed you more. You have no idea." Ella said as she pulled her daughter into a hug.

"I love you Aria." Ella said.

"So...where were you? why'd you leave? you didn't call. I was worried sick!" Ella said.

"I was-" Aria got cut off.

"Aria? Someone wants to see you." Ezra said.

"Are you two back together?" Ella asked with a smirk.

"Yes. We are. But in fact we have something very important to tell you." Aria said.

"It has to do with why i left." Aria said.

She knew she wasn't lying but she wasn't telling the whole truth.

"When i left...i had just found out i was p-p-pregnant." Aria said stuttering on the word 'pregnant'.

"Aria-" Ella led on.

"I know i should've came to you. Or someone. But i was afraid. Afraid what everyone would think." Aria said.

"Why should you be afraid." Ella asked.

"I don't know. Maybe cause i was teenager. Pregnant. Not to

mention the father was my teacher." Aria said looking away.

"You shouldn't have been. I really wish you would've came to me instead of running away." Ella said with disappointment.

"So where is my grand baby?" Ella asked with excitement.

"She should be right here. Oh hold on a minute." Aria said walking outside.

Aria was shocked to see Alison. Playing with Maddie.

"Aria! Hello." Alison said with a smile.

"Hi.." Aria led on.

She wasn't Ali's biggest fan.

"What are you doing here?" Aria asked.

"I came to see Em." Ali winked at Emily and Emily blushed.

"Oh. Okay. I'll be right back." Aria said as she grabbed Maddie's hand.

"Mom. This is Maddie, your granddaughter." Aria said smiling.

"Oh my god. Aria she's precious." Ella said.

"How old is she?" Ella asked.

"She's going on three." Aria smiled proudly.

"Can i hold her?" Ella asked hesitant.

"Of course." Aria asked.

"Ella would you mind doing us a favor?" Ezra asked walking in the door.

"Not at all. What's up?" She asked.

"Can you watch Maddie for like an hour or two? Quality bonding time? We have some important stuff to do." Ezra asked.

"Of course!!" Ella practically shoved them out the door.

"Where are we going?" Aria asked.

"You'll see." Ezra smirked as he pulled into a jewelry store.

"Why are we here?" Aria laughed.

"Well..remember when i proposed. I didn't give you a ring at that time. I figured it would be a lot easier to tell people we're engaged if you had a big diamond on your finger." Ezra explained.

"Ezra.." Aria led on.

"Aria.." Ezra said.

"I love you." Ezra said.

"I love you too." Aria replied.

"Lets go get you that ring!" Ezra said getting out his door.

He grabbed Aria's hand as they walked into the door.

"Oh my God." Aria said as her eyes looked at a ring.

Ezra's eyes followed and smiled. He could tell it was perfect.

"Perfect." He said.

"Ezra!" Aria screamed as she saw the price.

"Can i see that one." Ezra asked pointing to the ring.

Ezra slid it on her finger and smiled.

"We'll take it." Ezra said before Aria could say anything.

Aria was absolutely in love with that ring.
