Chapter Seventeen

"Aria!" I heard Aria's name be called as we went to leave the boutique.

I turn around to see Aria hugging a stranger.

"How's Maddie? Where is she? And who is that?" The girl asked looking over at me.

Who is this girl? How did Aria know someone in New York? How does she know Maddie? We're some of the questions popping into my head.

"Ezra?" Aria whispered for me to go over there.

"Vicky meet Ezra, Ezra meet Victoria." Aria said introducing us.

"I'm sorry is this-" Victoria started but Aria cut her off whispering "Yes."

"Are you two on a date?" Victoria asked.

Aria nodded.

"Oh well I better leave you two. By the way Aria, you look amazing call me. And nice to meet you Ezra." Victoria said walking away.

"And that was?" I asked.

"My old best friend. She took me in when I was pregnant with Maddie and got me a job... Here." Aria smiled.

"You mean you were in New York this whole time?" I asked.

"I kinda traveled." Aria said.

"Is there a reason my PI didn't find you?" I asked.

"Maybe." Aria said as she walked outside.

I just looked at her waiting for her to continue.

"Okay... I may have changed my name... And when he did find me...pay him off." Aria blushed.

"How come Victoria knew your real name?" I asked.

"I told her." Aria laughed.

"You paid off my PI?" I laughed.

"What was your name?" I smirked.

Aria looked anywhere but my eyes "Daisy."

"Seriously?" I laughed as Aria nodded.

"Well I'm glad you didn't have to become a prostitute or something to support for Maddie." I said as Aria looked away.

"You didn't right?" I asked frightened of what could've happened.
