"Hey baby girl, how are you feeling?" I asked my beautiful wife as her gorgeous hazel eyes fluttered open.

"A little tired haha. Where are the kids?" She asked sitting up.

"Well Maddie is at a sleep over and-" Aria cut me off with a smile taking over her entire face.

"What?" I chuckled.

"Nothing." She said twirling her wedding ring around her perfectly manicured finger.

I brushed a strand of lose hair behind her ear as she blushed looking down.

"You're beautiful." I blurted out.

She suddenly did something I've been noticing for a while.

She shook her head, blushed and ran her hand up and down the inside of her arm.

She's happy. Happier than I've ever seen her. Her past is behind her.

But whenever she gets nervous she'll run her right hand against her left arm.

It tells her, her past is behind her, and she will never do that again."Too much of a risk."

"Ezra?" I heard Aria ask over and over again her voice fading out and doctor Freeman's voice getting stronger.

"Ezra?" Doctor freeman shook my shoulder as I noticed I was staring out the window.

"That was a dream." I muttered to myself with the disappointment seeping though.

"Huh?"

"Oh, nothing."
