Your heart dropped. This was the end, wasn't it? Ayato stood in your room surrounded by posters of himself. He was going to call you some creepy stalker and move to some other small town to finish his education.

You tossed your blankets over your head out of instinct to hide from embarrassment. You never wanted to make eye contact with him again, or just see him in general. Everything that had just started had now been torn apart.

You slowly peeked from under your blanket to see if Ayato was still present. You squealed and hid under the blanket again to find he had not moved an inch.

"Go away," you muttered.

To your surprise, Ayato was chuckling.

You peaked your head out from underneath the blankets again and he had a smile across his face.

"um...isn't this the part where you call me out for being a creepy stalker then move somewhere far away?" You asked tilting your head.

"Do I really seem like the type of person that would run away from their friend?" Ayato questioned.

You held the blanket close to you, preparing to hide under it again, "I don't know," you murmured like a sad puppy.

Was he really this cruel? Was he just going to laugh about it and then disappear forever? You were sure this was all a part of his plan now that he's discovered your bedroom.

"Y/n," Ayato said in a rather serious tone.

A chill ran down your spine. This was the moment he would leave.

You gulped and kept a tight grip on your blanket, "yes?" You quietly answered, already knowing what was about to happen.

You shut your eyes so you didn't have to watch Ayato yell at you for being a creepy stalker.

"How are you feeling?" His tone shifted to be a lot softer.

The blanket fell from your hands, and to your surprise, Ayato didn't yell at you and leave.

He stayed.

Your expression was frozen with shock.

"Y/n... you didn't seriously think I'd move away because you have a couple of posters of me in your room, did you?" Ayato had finally processed your reaction. (also, a couple of posters is a huge understatement)

All you could do was nod.

Ayato chuckled again, the same way he did earlier. Your face lit up as bright as a strawberry.

"So you're not going to disappear?" You mumbled.

He shook his head, "I'd never leave you." He promised.

Your fears vanished as butterflies filled your stomach.

"Are you well enough to attend school today?" Ayato asked.

You were unable to speak, so you responded with another nod.

Ayato gave you his hand to help you step out of bed.

You went straight to the bathroom, only to find a tangled mess in the mirror. Your h/l hair looked like a bird's nest. (if the reader has hair that's too short to get tangled just...imagine it being super messy or something)

You grabbed your brush from the bathroom sink counter and began to viciously scrape through your hair. It was painful since you put no mercy on your hair, but you couldn't stand being with Ayato looking like this.

After painfully digging through your hair you ran back to your room to grab your school uniform, then back to the bathroom to get dressed.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-

Ayato had called a taxi over to take you two to school.

Since you didn't have breakfast at your apartment (and didn't have much food there) Ayato had called a special taxi that was more spaced out and had served us breakfast.

A FLIPPING TAXI WITH BUILT-IN TABLES AND FREE BREAKFAST? I feel super poor right now.

Not only was the breakfast free with the ride, but it was also top-quality gourmet food. It was probably one of the best meals you've eaten in your entire life. And you ate enough food that could feed multiple people.

Ayato just kept on telling you not to hold back, and saying how I must be hungry after puking up my stomach last night.

"Do you eat food this fancy all the time?" You asked.

"Sometimes, but the food this taxi serves isn't as nice as what I usually eat," Ayato explained.

He ate...even fancier food?!

Rich people are lucky.

"OH NO!" You suddenly screamed.

Luckily, the taxi driver had a noise-canceling wall in between you, so no matter how loud you are you wouldn't disturb them.

"What's wrong, Y/n?" Ayato asked.

"I forgot my phone..." You sighed.

This morning had been so overwhelming that while you packed your backpack for school you accidentally left your phone behind.

Ayato handed you a small phone with a pastel purple case, "I noticed you forgot it, so I grabbed it."

You took the phone as your eyes sparkled, "Thank you!"

The moment you clicked the home screen button you noticed at least 50 new notifications from Yoimiya. She called you at least 30 times and left a bunch of messages. Some of the messages read 'Y/n are you okay?' 'I heard you got sick...you doing alright?' 'Why aren't you answering?' 'Hello?' 'You better not be ignoring me...' and many more messages.

There were too many for you to read through before you got to school, so you decided to wait on responding and just apologize to Yoimiya in person.

"Is everything alright?" Ayato asked as he notice your slightly concerned expression.

You nodded, "Yeah, just Yoimiya spammed me last night, she must've heard I wasn't feeling well...but she isn't upset or anything!" or at least you hoped so.

Ayato smiled, "That's good. I thought you might've felt ill again after eating all the food, but I'm glad nothing is wrong."

You smiled back and nodded again.

The taxi slowed in speed until it finally stopped in front of the school building.

The moment you stepped out of the taxi you remembered something.

You fell asleep on Ayato's shoulder.

Butterflies immediately filled your stomach by the thought, and light pink tinted your cheeks.

After you fell asleep must've been when Ayato decided to move you to your bedroom...

HE CARRIED ME?!

Ayato truly feels like prince charming right now.

You followed him as he walked towards the entrance of the school. While walking up the stairs you suddenly froze as you remembered something else, but this time Ayato noticed your swift stop.

"Y/n?" He said.

Your face heated back up to the strawberry red color it was earlier, "Ayato, you were at my apartment when I woke up..."

"Yes?"

Your face felt like exploding from all the thoughts that came across your mind right now.

"Did you stay overnight?" you asked.
