The door slammed open as a familiar blue-haired man rushed to your side.

"Y/n what happened? Are you alright?" Ayato said as he began to spam you with questions about everything.

"I'm fine," you said, unsure what to respond with.

He looked at you with eyes filled with worry, then he placed his hands on top of yours that lay at your side.

Ayaka, Thoma, and Itto entered the room. They seemed to be out of breath.

"What happened?" Ayato repeated.

Just as you were about to speak, the fox-like woman spoke from across the room, "ah, so she's you're special someone."

Ayato's attention shifted to Yae, but his hands remained on top of yours, "Yae? What are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing, but I think I know exactly why you're here." Yae sneered.

You looked back and forth between the blue-haired man and the pink-haired woman, do they know each other?  Well, I guess it makes sense because they're both super famous.

Yae walked around my bed to get closer to Ayato, "but if you really want to know why I'm here, it's because I wanted to see you again." Her tone of voice completely changed since Ayato got her, she seemed a lot more cunning now.

The person she mentioned visiting was Ayato. Your heart dropped, you had no idea what she meant but all you knew is you didn't like the sound of that.

You then took a quick look back at Ayaka and the others, they didn't appear to be confused. Was there some piece to the story that you're missing here? What happened between them and Yae?

"I don't know why you're here, but you can leave now,"  Ayato said.

Yae raised her hand to hover in front of her mouth, "oh, you should be thanking me. After all, I saved your precious Y/n."

You didn't remember telling Yae your name, so it made you wonder how she knew it in the first place. Although, you didn't think much about it as you had bigger things to worry about.

"Ayato, calm down," Ayaka said as she walked up behind her brother and placed her hand on his shoulder.

Yae's gaze shifted to the window as she spoke, "I thought we were friends again after you took me out on that date." She frowned.

Your eyes widened. Date? You and Ayato just got together, but was he cheating on you?

"I never thought I'd see you again! I thought things between you and Boba Boy were over," Itto blurted out.

Thoma and Ayaka both shot him a death glare, that had him confused.

Exes? Were they Exes?

You were so confused and you didn't like what was going on. You felt like escaping to a closet to cry in.

Ayaka noticed your frozen figure and then approached you, "Y/n, are you okay?" she asked.

Ayato's hands moved off of your hand as he pointed at Yae, "it wasn't a date, I just needed your help!"

Yae snickered, "quit denying it, it was obviously a date."

The blue-haired man looked about ready to punch Yae, but Thoma ran in between him and Yae.

"Both of you, that's enough!" Thoma shouted, making the room go silent.

Yae grinned then looked back towards the window.

Ayato clenched his fists so hard you were worried that his fingers would break through his skin. "it's all your fault for leaving me!"

"My fault?" Yae looked back with a slightly stunned look, "no, no no. You can't seriously forget what you did."

"ENOUGH!" Thoma yelled again.

Yae and Ayato looked about ready to shove Thoma aside and fight to the death.

That was it.

You had enough of this argument.

You didn't care that the nurse told you that you'd be discharged in a few hours, you got up from your bed feeling a sharp throbbing pain from the wounds. But the wounds didn't hurt as much as your heart did.

You ran out of your room without care that you were still wearing the hospital garment. Your house wasn't too far from the hospital, so that's where you planned on going. For now.

Tears were impossible to hold back at this point. You had no idea what was going on, but you were sure about one thing, you didn't want to know the context. It had been obvious that Ayato and Yae has or had some type of relationship.

Once arriving home, and made sure nobody was following you, you changed into your own clothes.

You knew that there was a chance Ayato would show up at your door any minute, so you left for the next best place in mind.

Your best friend's house, Yoimiya.

Praying she wasn't at work. Because if she was, then you'd have nowhere to the hideout.

You held your head low as you quickly walked to your friend's house, not wanting nearby people to see you bawling your eyes out.

The whole world seemed to be spinning. Nothing made sense to you anymore. You just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry for the rest of eternity.

The wounds you received from last night began aching so badly from moving around, but you didn't let them stop you. You just needed to talk to your friend, she always makes things better.

Yoimiya was always the cure for your problems. If you were sad she'd do something goofy involving her fireworks to get you to laugh. When you're being bullied in school she was always there to defend you.

Although, she hasn't spoken to you in the past couple of days... and she never showed up to the hospital with Ayato and the others.

You shook your head, she was your best friend. There is no way she would just suddenly ditch you. She has just been super busy with work... right?

By the time you reached Yoimiya's apartment, you managed to clear up your face a bit. You wiped the remaining tears that lingered around your face.

You reached your hand forward to knock on her door.
