[17] Pig Plushie

The helicopter ride only lasted a minimum of 15 minutes. You'd wish the ride would be longer, but the fun wasn't over yet. 

After Thoma parked the helicopter at a landing spot, he called an uber to come to take us to the amusement park. The drive there was only 5 minutes and was extremely awkward. The uber guy played loud music and sang along. He was an awful singer. Worse, Itto sang along with the dude. 

Once we arrived, we got out of the car as quickly as possible. Itto refused to leave until the current song that was playing ended. You, Ayaka, Ayato, and Thoma walked away from the car until you could no longer hear them, and waited for Itto to exit.

The song had finally ended, and Itto ran towards you, "Why'd you start walking without me!"

"You should've left the car when we did," Thoma pointed out, "then you would not have been left behind." 

The 5 of us headed toward the main entrance. Thoma handled all the payments while you just looked at what you could see past the front gates. You saw several rollercoasters skyrocketing into the air, little mini-games with prizes hanging on the back wall, and you even saw a kid walk by with cotton candy bigger than their head! 

After Thoma finished the payment, you ran in. It had been several years since you last went to an amusement park.

Ayato chased after you, making sure you wouldn't leave his sight.

"I wanna ride that!" You exclaimed as you pointed to this crazy high rollercoaster.

"Are you sure?" Ayato asked, wondering if you'd be able to handle something crazy.

You nodded, "yes, and you're going with me."

Ayato gulped as you grabbed his hand and started dragging him towards the ride. The line wasn't too long so the wait was short. While waiting in line you heard people whispering about Ayato, wondering if he was the famous model or someone that looks familiar. Luckily nobody dared to approach him and find out the truth.

When it was our turn to get on the ride, we were lucky enough to get to the front row. Ayato still seemed uncertain about the ride. You were guessing that he is just overly worried about me and didn't want me to do anything reckless without thinking it through. But this is an amusement park, so of course, you're going to want to try the craziest rides available. You needed to make the most of the time while you were here.

"Hehehe." You giggled as the cards slowly began moving on the tracks.

Ayato grabbed your hand and squeezed it so tight, while you paid no attention to that you just squealed and enjoyed the ride.

The cart slowly moved up the steep hill, only driving your excitement up more. 

"Aren't you excited?" You turned to look at Ayato and blushed when you realized he was holding your hand.

"Excited isn't the right word..." he sighed.

You tilted your head, "oh?"

Ayato looked about ready to go on a lecture on how he doesn't think this is a safe idea. Before he had a chance to start, though, the ride dropped down the tracks. Ayato's grasp released from yours as he tightly grabbed the bar that was securing him. Meanwhile, you raised your arms in the air having the time of your life. You shouted joyously as the wind jolted in your face. Ayato on the other hand was rather terrified.

When the ride was finally finished Ayato took a moment to breathe and then examined you to make sure you were safe.

"You look like you just saw a ghost." You giggled.

Once you got out of the cart you got even closer to him, "you were scared, weren't you."

The man crossed his arms and hints of pink appeared on his cheeks, "no."

That was the most obvious lie. You began to giggle more, only making Ayato more flustered.

He tried to brush it off by asking another question, "which ride do you want to go on next, Y/n?"

"Hmm," you didn't want to drag Ayato on another rollercoaster, as he obviously hated it.

You looked around at all the rides you could see from your view, but suddenly a bright pink pig plushie from one of the game stands caught your attention.

With sparkly eyes, you pointed at the big plushie, "look it's so cute!!"

Ayato smiled, then grabbed your hand. He ended up taking you to the stand. He let go of your hand and reached into his pocket to grab some money.

The game looked simple, you just threw the basketballs into the hoops. But you knew they were rigged so it wouldn't be easy to get the pig.

A middle-aged dude handed Ayato three basketballs. He was about to toss the first, you watched it fly into the hoop. You were surprised that he got it first try. But in order to get the giant pig plushie he needed to get all three balls into the hoop.

"You got this!" You cheered right before Ayato threw the second ball.

He gave you a quick smile before tossing it. Your heart stopped beating as you watched it fly through the air. It fell into the hoop, another perfect shot.

Excitement washed over you as you could basically feel the pig plushie sitting in your arms. He just needed to score the last hoop. Scoring two already made the last one seem like it was nothing. But it was also extremely nerve-racking because if he missed he would have to buy more balls.

Your fists tightened as Ayato picked up the last ball to throw it. You carefully watched as he tossed it out of his hands.

"Watchu doing?" Itto said behind you, taking your eyes off the ball to look at the oni.

Ayato had also turned around too, meaning the shot was missed making you upset.

"You little piece of—" you growled as you got cut off.

"Which one do you want?" The middle age guy huffed as he pointed at the largest plushies.

Your attention immediately went to the man, "huh?" You muttered in confusion. Ayato missed the shot...didn't he?

Your eyes met back with the hoop to see all three balls sitting underneath it. He did get it in.

"The pig," Ayato responded.

The man grabbed the pig and placed it in Ayato's arms. Without hesitation, you wrapped your arms around him and squeezed tightly.

"Thank you thank you thank you!!" You said as you snuggled your face into the pig plush.

"Get a room love birds," Itto stated
