the Ashura King HiranyAkash
who was the great devotee of Lord Brahma was doing a tap to gain a boon from Brahma Dev.
in the end after a long penance Brahma Dev was finally pleaseD,
he came to hiranyaksha and asked him what boon did he want so HiranyAksh said
H - Mujhe amaratva chahie Brahmadev .
( I want a immortality brahmdev )
B - hiranyaksh kisi ko bhi amaratva Dena Shristi ke Niyamon ka ullanghan hai Jo Main Nahin kar sakta Tumhen aur jo Kuchh Bhi chahie mango Kintu Amaratav nahi .
( hiranyaksha I cannot give anyone immortality that will be breaking the law of nature and I cannot do that you can ask for anything you want but not immortality )
H - theek hai to mujhe Vardan De Brahma Dev ki koi bhi Manav ya koi bhi janwar Mujhe Hani na pahuncha sake .
( ok so give me a boon that no human or animal will be able to cause harm to me )
B - pahle Mujhe yah batao ki Aise kaun se kaun se Janwar Hai Jin Se Tum Suraksha chahte ho .
( ok so first tell me that from which animalS do you want protection from )
so hiranyaksha give a long list of different animals that he thought could cause him harm . so after seen the list Brahmadev said
B - Tathastu !
( so be it !)
after getting the bone hiranyaksha considered himself practically immortal and started to cause harm and pain to every single being on earth ,
he started doing horrendous sinS and crimes .
one day when Devi Lakshmi was in her BhuDevi form HiranyAksh decided that it would be fun to kidnap bhudevi ,
and so he did he kidnapped who Devi and kept her under the cosmic sea Reaching where was very difficult .
so again all the Gods like usual went to Narayan for help and like every time Narayan agreed to help them .
