Ashwamedha

16 years flew by

Ram was now a handsome 18 year old man ,he had just return to Ayodhya after completing his Gurukul in the Ashram of Maharshi Vashishtha.

I am so glad that all my sons are back from Gurukul and now I think it is time for me to retire and let Ram take over the kingdom of Ayodhya but before that two things have to happen
1)Ram has to get married
2) an Ashwamedha Yagya.

So, it was decided that the Ashwamedha Yagya would be conducted.
Let's just say them wasn't at all happy with it because a horse would be sacrificed at the end of the yagya after the poor thing had Run around entire Aryavart for 1 year. He was extremely upset but chose not to say anything.

After a few days when the preparation for the Yagya were over, the horse was released to run around the entire Aryavart and whoever dared to stop it would face war with Ayodhya.

Sita Had grown up to become a beautiful 16 year old. She was not only beautiful but kind, talented, motherly and and very good with weapons those she did not use her weaponary skills a lot.

Sita and her sisters Urmila Mandvi and Shrutikirti where the students of Devi Gargi. Their education had also recently came to an end.

One day Sita was collecting flowers with her sisters for the Puja of Mahadev while her father was working in a nearby field with the farmers.
That is when she saw beautiful white horse running she notice that its feet was hurt and ran towards it and stopped the horse she was about to bowl down to check what injury the horse had gotten so that she could heal it when she heard a voice say," Kanya Kaun Ho Tum Aur yah ghoda rokane ki Himmat Kaise Hui Tumhari".

( girl, who are you and how dare you stop this horse.)

That was a very offensive tone to be spoken to a princess but our Sita was sweet As Sugar so she replied in her Honey like voice saying," Pranam, main Maharaja Janak ki Putri athva Vaideh ki Rajkumari Vaidehi hun."

( greetings I am the daughter of king Janak and The Princess of Vaideh, Vaidehi)

The Senapati realise his mistake and said," kshma Kare Rajkumari Kintu aap Kripa kar Hamen yah bataiye ki aapane is Ghode ko kyon rok liya??"

To which Sita replied saying," Senapati ji,
is ashv ke Pairon Mein chot Lagi Hai Main uska upchar kar deti hun tab tak aap log Mithila ka Athitiya grahan kijiye."
