The story begins in Tretayug
In the prosperous Kingdom of Ayodhya ruled a kind hearted and Righteous king
Named Dashrath. He had everything a man could have asked for a magnificent Kingdom ,loving subjects and three beautiful wives. Yet his heart was not at ease because he did not have any children .After a while he decided to perform a Putrakameshthi Yagya , which was performed by Rishishringya who also happened to be the son in law of Dashrath through his only daughter Shanta who he had given to his best friend 'Romapada the king of anga'.
When the Yagya was held, Agni Dev appeared and give a bowlfull of Kheer to Dashrath and said to divided among his wives. Dashrath divided the Kheer into a half and give one portion to Kaushalya and the other portion to Sumitra then he again divided the leftover kheer and give one portion of it to kaiKai and the other to Sumitra.
With the help of the Kheer all wives of Dashrath were blessed with kids. And soon not one but four princes of Ayodhya were born.

Hey guys I know you all will be thinking why did I skip the Parshuram after but if I am being honest I need to complete this this story line as soon as possible so that we can delve into the main topics.
