Narasimha Avatar part 2

After the stories were completed Narad Muni left to the palace.

Soon months past by and a young prince  was born,He was named Prahlad. There was a little something special about the boy as he was born during the time when Maharani khyadi was visiting the Ashrama of Narad ji.

One day the Asura king hiranyakashyapu called for his son made him lovingly sit on his thighs and asked .

H - my sweet boy, what is the best thing in life for you?

P - to renounce the world and seek Lord Vishnu father .

After hearing this hiranyakashyapu could not believe he is ears . He could not tolerate the idea that he is own son was seeking refuge in that Vishnu, his sworn enemy. He said like someone had deliberately brain washed his child. To find out what was going on, he took his son to Shanku and Amraka the son of Shukracharya for education.

In the school his teacher called for him and ask him lovingly that.

T - who taught you about Vishnu son.

P - Vishnu thought me himself, teacher.

This infuriated his teacher very much and he called for his magical care and started beating Prahlad like anything .
But Prahlad remained quite and calm and completed his education.

After finishing his education when he reached his father's Palace his father called for him and lovingly asked him

H - what did you learn in your school son.

P - I learn that we should keep taking the name of Vishnu.

Hiranyakashyapu was infuriated would be the under statement of the century in this case. He was so angry that you shouted in his son face that.

H - you foolish and despicable child never take the name of Vishnu in front of me again.

And send him back to his room after this he called for Shanku and Amraka and ask them.

H - why did you teach my son ,
exactly the opposite of what I told you to teach him ?

S/A - it's not our fault, Your Majesty.
We did everything power to stop him from taking the name but you would not listen to any of us . He keeps on saying that -" the essence of learning anything lies in the name of Vishnu".

Hiranyakashyap criticize his son for his devotion towards Narayan but Prahlad could tolerate anything but the insult of his prabhu .

P - "o father! You have this unnecessary enmity towards Vishnu. If you wish good on yourself and our family you should adore him to.

H - take this despicable child away from me and throw him of the highest mountain peak in the country.

The servants did as the master told them to and tied his body with a rope and threw him of the mountain but nothing happened to him as he was continuously chanting the name of Lord Vishnu. After he completely fell down he just stood and walked away from the side like nothing had happened.

After seeing that he had survived this punishment . Hiranyakashyapu order that his son be drowned inside the ocean
But when it came to be the waved of the ocean but him up and kept him safely on the surface.

Again, hiranyakashyapu pronounced a severe punishment for Prahlad,"mix deadly poison in his sweet dish and make him eat it". But even the poison could not harm him and this angered hiranyakashyapu even more.

Then he ordered Prahlad to be thrown in a front of the thousand snakes. But even the snake did not cause him any problem. The interwind on his neck and ARMs as if they were ornament some people events at that he look the exactly like Lord Shiva.

The demon King then ordered a mad elephant to be launched on Prahlad but the elephant instead of causing harm to him ,the elephant him up from the ground and kept him on his back.

In the end when nothing was working hiranyakashyapu decided to burn his own son alive with the help of his sister Holika.

The decision was made that would support on inside a fire pyre with Prahlad on her lap. Holika was a dare - devil and she had a boon that she would never be burnt by fire. Thus the decision was made.

The next day the same thing happened but instead of Prahlad getting burned and holica staying alive the opposite happened Holika was burned to death and Prahlad was alive.

the people of the kingdom where overjoyed and they celebrated it by throwing colours and dancing in happiness. This festival till date is known as the festival of Holi.

After this hiranyakashyapu thought of many ways to kill Prahlad but not was successful so one day he decided to challenge his own son in a completely filled court .

H - " Prahlad! Is my enemy ,who you worship anywhere near here."

P - " Vishnu is Omnipresent. That is not a single place that he cannot be found. " now hiranyakashyapu's anger was on it's peak.

H - "do you think you are so called God Vishnu is that in this hot and and dangerous pillar". If you do believe that he is present there then go and hug that pillar .

After hearing this Prahlad the ran towards the pillar and hugged it tightly but nothing happened to him.

After seeing this so mad that he pick up his mace and hit the Iron Pillar.

But instead of it crumbling and a falling to ground came out a figure that look like half lion and half human.

On to the creature but instead of it hitting to the creature he got the mist broke it into two half then lunged at hiranyakashyapu and broke his neck and spinal cord then placed him in his thighs and started tearing him apart and said.

?? - I hope you remember your boon hiranyakashyapu. You said that you did not want to be killed by a human god goddess or an animal but I am neither of those for I am half a God and half an animal.

H - ( said this in extremely pained way )
Who the hell are you??

?? - me, I am Narasimha half lion and half human. You dared to try to kill your son so many times just because he was my devotee today you will be punished for all of yourself.

And tore him apart completely.
And thus hiranyakashupu died.

Prahlad on the other hand was super scared after seeing this angry side of his Lord but even after killing hiranyakashyapu the anger of Narsimha had not calmed down all the Gods try the best their best to calm Narayan down but everyone failed.

Narsimha killed everyone that dared to come in front of him. That is when he felt to hand s set down on both of his shoulders.

He looked back to see who it was and so a beautiful lady dressed in all red and gold ornament and a young child.

The ladies and held both his hands and tried to calm him down and he started calm down then the child did the same.
Soon after that Narsimha calmed down . As the Narayan inside of Narasimha recognised his wife and young devotees.

Soon after coming down Narsimha start on his knees and open his arms for Prahlad to hug him Prahlad could not believe his eyes what was happening and he runs into Narsimha arms .

And Shri stands on the corner smiling at the beautiful scene.
