Heartstrings

"What did they say!" Garrus says crossing his arms.
"They where saying how it was strange that I was 'the one'. Then they walked out like nothing even happened. They're voices where strange Turian I think, possibly drell. But they where tall, like reaaally tall." she shudders "unnaturally tall."
He rubs the back of his neck "shit" he says muttering.

Shepard POV
Watching pace like that makes me worry. "Garrus, stop your scarring me!"
He puffs out worried air, "I...I'm sorry. I just, I'm worried if anything happens to you or spirits forbid the baby..." He starts to cry, then quickly as if ashamed he wipes them away. In the past 3 years I've never seen him actually cry, I've seen him come close but never has a tear escaped.
"Hey, hey don't do that come here." I say with my arms lifted. He buries his head in my chest and starts to cry. wrapping my arms around him I start to rub his back. I can feel the bone structure, more then one usually would on a Turian.
"Why haven't you been eating? don't lie to me, I can tell you haven't been." I say resting my head on his crest plates.
"I haven't been able too, I vomit it up. its nerves I think... this whole business with the privet investigator..." he says actually getting up into the bed with me.
"I know, it's ok but don't you ever think you have too hide your emotions from me... Ever." I say resting my bandage wrapped hand on his face. We lay like that for a few moments, then I shift to my right side and fall asleep.

I'd bet that's the soundest sleep either of us got in months.
