He called the doctor they had an opening the next day.
Shepard POV
The sonogram gel is hella cold on my stomach, the doctor is a Turian she looks like Garrus's sister her plates sit the same way her do. Her plates scrunch up after a few moments.
" I don't know how you did it but this baby has plates. You sure your purely human? I mean there have been cases before... We suspected it was prothen DNA tampering. We have records of Turian men and women with human like DNA in them..." She tilts her head in a crane like fashion.
Looking over at Garrus I start to think, in truth it would make sense. My strange tallness, medical issues, and the undertone in my voice...
"I guess anything is possible... But how is all this going to go.... Wait is it a boy or a girl?" I ask laying my hand on hers.
She looks over at the monitor, "It's still to early to tell... But based on the position they are in and the crest shape so far... I'd say a girl." She says with a toothy grin.
I can feel his happiness even from the bed here I can just feel it radiate from him. He looks down at me with a tear in his eye and a smile "I.... Can't believe it..." He whispers head in my hand.
*Mmhhmm*
The doctor rumbles "I have to take a look...." She says going over to my legs.
"Your uturis resembles that of a Turian... I'm sure now that you had the tampering I said about before." She says pulling off her gloves and washing her hands.
Garrus and I exchange looks, he shrugs "Well you know I'd love you no matter what. This just adds to your list of accomplishments!" he says pulling out a pretend scroll and writing in the air with his finger.
