"Yes! for the last damn time I want to meet him and your sister! why the hell are you so freaked out about this!" Shepard said whirling around and drumming her fingers on her elbow.
"My father isn't as easy going as I am. He also doesn't really like humans..."Garrus said throughout himself infrount of the door spreading his arms out dramatically over it. But in doing so he opened it. Shepard ducked down under his widespread arms and pulled him in . "Hun, come on he'll love me! I'm a big ball of fun!" she said kissing him on the mandable.

He heard her before he saw her, that human voice was unmistakeable. the high pitched whine that was also deep and satiny. His son surprised him when he messaged him and told him they where coming over. he just couldn't believe that of all the fine Turian women he showed him he picks a human.
"Hmpf" the old Turian growled
"What?" Garrus asked
"Her! this damn human! Why this one!" He yelled
"Look father I'm not going to appalagize for falling in love! she is the best damn thing that happened to me and the whole damn universe! So please give her a chance." Garrus said whilst grabbing Shepard's wrist.in the mists of being practically thrown into the middle of an argument Shepard realized that what he said made it sound personal he said 'this damn human' instead of 'a damn human'
"Waoh, sir please calm down I don't want this to end badly" she said crossing her arms.
"Oh for who you or me sweet heart? you have a lot of nerve" he retorted
"What exactly is your problem with me? What the hell did I ever do to you? I promised Garrus I wouldn't Yell so I would appreciate it if you didn't yell at me." she growled getting close to the old Turians face.
"She's got some fire son... brave. Fine she'll do." he finally said with the turian equivalent of a smile; after a nerve wrecking few minutes.

"Good we're getting married in a few weeks." and with those parting words and the dropping of a letter on the floor Shepard and Garrus are gone.
