Forever and a day

Unrestful night

Shepard's POV.
"Come on I wanna try it Garrus! It couldn't hurt" I say trailing my hand down his arm.
"I never said I didn't want to. in fact I remember saying I wanted to try for a baby." He replies humming. I look up at him, with wonder and aw, how? How did I end up with him, he is the best thing to ever happen to me. I mean yea I know saving the galaxy and all but...shit, things could've happened a million different ways. Hell, the both of us could be dead, but no here we are in the midst of planning our well forever.
I'm pulled out of my thoughts by him getting out of bed. I look up at him, he's undoing his suit I guess that's my cue as well. Of course I get my stuff of first all considering, when I look up and over at him all he is doing is staring at me,
"What? am I getting fat? Is something wrong?" I say poking at my now abbless Stomach.
"Sprits no Shepard! Your just beautiful, like a warm dream" he says crawling into bed. "Really know? I'm like a dream tell me what are these warm dreams like?" I say.
" oh ya know weddings, kids, growing into our twilight years together. Then we meet again in that beautiful bar in heaven; and do it all again."
I stare at him like a fool for a while, then figure it's now or never. So I crawl over top of him, "you sure you wanna do this?" I whisper. He looks me dead in the eye "Yes, I've never been more sure in my life about what I wanted. You.... I..... Spirits, I love you" he runs his fingers up my back and into my hair pulling my head down to his face. He kisses me, and then I guess everything just falls into place. Hands, hips, mandibles, thighs all in a cycle of movement that felt like it was playing in sweet slow motion. The feelings we both have never felt so real, before I had my doubts but now.... No never we are forever. I could live in those long moments for hours....
