Hospital visit

Her slow rhythmic heart beat on the monitor lulled him to sleep, but her soft frail fingers on his face woke him up.
"Oh your awake" he says sleepily.
"Yea, but you don't have to be... I was watching you sleep for a while. It was sweet" she says almost in a whisper, smiling.
The door opens, a asari doctor walks "ah good, your awake we have to discuss the child."
Scarlet shifts around in the bed uncomfortably, Garrus sits up.

"Wha-what's the problem?" she says squeezing Garrus's Hand.

"We went and did an ultrasound while you where passed out. Your child does in fact... as we feared have the facial and cranial features of your husband." The doctor says looking sadly into the pairs eyes. "Yes we could to a c-cection but as she grows we see this being a problem. The crest plates to be exact are our concern, we have a few options but... there rather invasive."
They nod indicating for her to continue. "1. We use micro sized nano tech to strengthen your uterus walls." she goes to continue on but Shepard interrupts.
"Yes let's do that one. I've had the nano upgrading done before and I know how that works lets go with that." she says in a hurried tone. that's when Garrus figures it out, her one true fear the fear of the unknown. all considering with the past few years is ironic but it makes sense know. Why she asked so many questions, why she looked over everything 3+ times. he squeezes her hand to communicate that he understands. The asari turns to him;
"I trust in her judge meant. the nano idea seems like the best way to go." he says in agreement with Shepard. The doctor nods and walks out of the room with a grim look on her face.
"Hun, I'm hungry and I'm craving chicken or something that tastes like chicken can you please get me some." Shepard says with big puppy dog eyes, she knows he can't resist when she uses those.
"Ok! fine, bit I still don't know what chicken looks like or even tastes like bit i'll look. just for you my dear." he says with mock sarcasm.
She knows this will take a while, pulling up her omni tool she checks her messages from responding to Tali to sending tattoo designs for her self to jack Shepard starts to feel tired. after nodding off for a few moments the door opens.
"Thank-" then she realises that its not Garrus. Two tall hooded figures walk in the room.
"This is the blip... interesting" the one on the right murmurs.The one on the left responds

"Hmm I know the news said they where... as one know but I did not consider she would be... The one" he crosses his robbed arms in frustration.

"you have a point this does complicate things." the right one shoots back.

"What do you mean 'the one' ?! " she says trying to rase her shaky arms to air quote.

"No need to worry your pretty little head about dear... just keep the child safe." The pair say in perfect unison.

She shudders 'creepy' dialing Garrus's omni number.
"Yes dear?"
"Two guys, full body robes, what the hell!" she breathes out windily (she's having a panic attack)

"Shepard stay calm breath i'll be there in a moment!" He says ending the call.
