34: Off Campus/Old Friends

Sunghoon POV

"Guys let's go off campus for lunch" Haime says. "Why? Are you hiding from someone?" Sanbin teases her. "Why would that mean she's hiding?" Angel asks. "Haime has never asked to eat off campus before, baby. It is oddly suspicious" I say. "Do you want to get beat up? I just don't want to eat on campus" Me and Sanbin nod.

Angel and Haime decided to go to McDonald's of all places. The walk there was decent a lot of laughing, bullying and hitting mostly coming from Haime. "You're so abusive, noona" I tease and she threatened to hit me making me I hide behind my girlfriend.

"You'll use me to protect yourself?" She says and folds her arms. I thought she was joking but she quickly turned to me and didn't look to be in the playful mood.

"No, babe, I would never!" I tried to explain but she ignores me walking with Haime, who keeps looking back at me smirking. "Haime! Stop stealing my girlfriend! I haven't had her for 24 hours yet" I whine irritatedly. They ignore me until we get to the shop. "Sanbin!" "Yes hyung?"

I look at him with great desperation, I want my girlfriend back! "Please distract Haime! Please!" I beg him but he taps his chin in thought. "Why?" I glare at him, was he always this dense? "Dude, help me out" I whisper. "Fine, I'd like a chicken nugget meal please" I growl in frustration but surrender to him. "Fine! Now go"

I push him inside. "Umm... Haime? Can you help me with something?" Sanbin says and she quickly rejects him. "What for?!" She rolls her eyes annoyed at the young boy.

"Because... because you're so smart and wise about many things, who else would I ask for advice?" He uses charm and flattery on her and it surprisingly worked. I needed Sanbin to get her away from the table so I could take her place next to Angel.

"Come look, Haime" she stands up in front of the table and shows her something really intriguing. Angel is minding her business staring at her phone. I slide in next to her as Sanbin in Haime continue their conversation. "What's wrong, Princess?" She turns her phone off again sniffing. " My mom still hasn't contacted me since I left.

I know my dad told her but I thought she would've said something by now" I feel bad for my girlfriend, I don't know if I would be able to leave my either. She lays her head on my shoulder. "Maybe she's trying to find something to say or she's in shock" I say trying to ease her conscious, I think it does a little.

"Do you think I made the right choice?" She asks, which hurts a little I never want her doubting us. "Of course, I do. We have a chance to be happy now, we don't have to wait anymore. Do you think you made the right choice?" She doesn't answer and I sigh.

I interlock our fingers and hug her "When I was with my mom, doing what she wanted I wasn't happy" she says "now I'm no longer in my comfort zone" "Let me be your comfort zone then" I'll do whatever it takes to make her happy here. I don't want her to doubt my feelings for her and I'll make sure she doesn't.

She takes our hands and puts them on the table and looks at me then frowns. "Bend down" I look at her confused but do what she says and she kisses my forehead. "Awww! You guys are so cute!!!" Haime says and Sanbin wipes fake tears from his eyes. "I actually don't like you guys" I roll my eyes playfully at them and they tease us.

"Blue!" We hear as soon as we enter the school. Haime and I turn toward the voice owner. Surprisingly so does Angel. "Blue, where'd you go...?" He stops and looks at Angel, who's looking at him.

"Keeho oppa?!"

"Angel?!"

My blood starts boiling.

how does he know my girlfriend?

"What are you doing here?" Angel asks him smiling.

Why is she so happy?

"I could ask the same thing. My dad had to move back here for business" he says not noticing my sharp glare. "How do you know each other?" Haime asks something I wanted to know too.

"Keeho oppa is my Canadian cousin's best friend. I used to visit him and Keeho oppa every other summer" she explains and he nods before turning to Haime. "Blue" he whines " you went off campus without me?!" He says and Sanbin looks at him dumbfounded.

"Blue? Her name is H"- Haime smacks his head before he could finish. "I told you go hang out with your friends Keeho" Haime rolls her eyes at him. I pull Angel closer to me from behind making sure he knows she's not single.

The bell rings signaling 2 things. 1: the next class is starting and 2: my hatred for Keeho. "I'll take you to class, babe" I tell Angel and she nods as we start walking. I know she doesn't like the attention of being my girlfriend and the new girl at the same time, who knows what they say about her.

"Have you made any friends yet?" "Nope just staring and gasping" she says sadly. Unfortunately people start actually staring and gasping. "I see what you mean" I say.

"She's back!"

"Babe, I don't think they're talking about me" we look toward the commotion. The crowd slowly separates revealing a girl I hadn't seen in a while. Kim Younghee. She's very popular like me but she wants to be popular I couldn't care less.

People used ship us together but I never liked her and never will. I have Angel, who's face I can't read. "Hey? You okay?" I ask in concern as Younghee walks up to us. "Park Sunghoon" she smirks at me.

"Kim Younghee" I say plainly and grab Angel's hand. "This is my girlfriend, Angel" I introduce her. "Hey, I'm Angel " Angel friendly says. "What do you mean 'girlfriend' ?" Younghee looks at me confused. "Angel and I are dating" I say confidently.
