LOVE LANGUAGE: EN- BOOK 1: SUNGHOON (OLD)

Angel POV

I excitedly get in oppa's car. "Where are we going?" I asks as he grips the steering wheel. He doesn't drive. "Oppa, ready to go?" Nothing, I put my hand on his gently "Should I drive?" I ask calmly and he looks at me.

Something's not right with you, oppa.

"If you really don't want to go we can stay here, okay?" I say and take his seatbelt off, he just sits there staring at the road ahead. I pull his hand off the wheel easily because they're so sweaty and hold them. "I'm right here" then I realize.

He hasn't been out since his incident, of course he'll be scared.

"I promise I won't let anything happen to you. I'll stay by you the whole time" he nods and I wipe his eyes.

I hold his hand as we walk inside the sweet shop, I recognize Sanbin oppa with Hyunjoo unnie and another girl. "Unnie! Oppa!" I get they're attention and both girls mouths drop. I sit in front of Hyunjoo unnie and look at the other girl. "Hi, I'm Angel, nice to meet you" I says and she smiles at me.

"Haime, nice to meet you" she looks at Sunghoon oppa with concern "Are you okay?"

Does she not like me?

Oppa nods. She looks at Hyunjoo unnie and glares at her.

Does she like the boys

"This is the Ice Princess" Sanbin oppa says. "I figured, yet she doesn't seem evil and dishonest" she says, again glancing at unnie.

Is something going on here?

"Thank you, Haime unnie" I say and oppa grabs my hand under the table to hold. "Hyung, you're pretty quite" Sanbin says. Haime unnie mumbles something and Hyunjoo unnie coughs. "Today! Is my treat" I clap happily and thank her. Sunghoon oppa looks at Haime unnie, who returns the gaze.

"Order anything you want" she smiles wider. I look through the menu and show oppa what looks good to me. "Do you know what you want?" "I do. I want the tiramisu" he says and I laugh. "I was going to get the same thing" I tell him but he doesn't react, I ruffle his hair and he puts his head on my shoulder.

He must be having it hard right now but he still came out with me. What am I doing?! I definitely still like oppa, a lot.

We order our food and Haime unnie starts a conversation with me. "I heard you planned to move here" I nod "just make sure not associate with evil, abusive, manipulative bitches. Okay?" I give her a thumbs up. "Or nosy, ignorant, annoying girls" Hyunjoo unnie says. "Got it" it becomes awkward.

"Are you sleepy?" I ask when the food gets here and he nods "I'll drive home" I tell him and he nods again.

Oppa isn't having any fun and these are his friends. Now I feel terrible that I dragged him out and he doesn't feel good.

"Guys, I think we're going to take our cake to go. I don't feel good" "Are you okay?" Sunghoon oppa asks and I shake my head. "Oh, please take care of yourselves" Haime unnie says and I smile at her. "It was nice to meet you guys" I pack up the cake and pat Oppa's thigh so he can get up. I wave goodbye to them and take oppa to car

Later

"Sanbin, take her home. Wouldn't want her to hurt anyone- I mean herself" Haime says but the boy misses it. "You have a good night, Haime, watch yourself" Hyunjoo says earning a glare from Haime.

Earlier

Sanbin had excused himself to use the bathroom. "Do you actually like Sanbin?" Haime ask Hyunjoo and she nods. "So you're predator and a liar" Haime says catching Hyunjoo off guard. "What do you mean?" She chuckles.

"A few nights ago I forgot my keys at the chicken shop and I saw Sunghoon begging you to leave him alone" Haime spits

"you're the reason he's sick!" "I have no idea what you're talking about" Hyunjoo looks out the window. "Leave my friend alone or the police will be involved" Haime glares at Hyunjoo when Sanbin comes back.

"Will you be okay, Haime?" She nod and show her brothers keys. "I'm using Hyunsuk's car" Haime smiles and waves at Sanbin.

Sunghoon POV

"Go wash up, you're all sweaty" She lightly chuckles at me as I go shower. When I come out she goes in. I finally relax for the first time in a few hours. I lay down and let out what I had been holding in.

I am deathly afraid of Hyunjoo and no one knows it, except for Haime I think she has an idea.

"Oppa! Can I talk to you?" I wipe my eyes and sit up, giving her my full attention. "Thank you, oppa, for still taking me to see your friends even when you didn't feel well. I appreciate your efforts and I've made up my mind" I smile finding her so adorable.

"When I move here... I'll definitely be your girlfriend" I smile and she returns it. I pull her toward me and hug her.

Today was worth it then.

"I won't force you to go out anymore" she pulls away looking at me, asking to kiss me, I nod. She softly kisses me at a safe distance. I pull her closer and deepen the kiss a little. I get small flashes but try to ignore them and go further.

The kiss get faster and the flashes are more prominent and I stop kissing her. She kisses my forehead and sits next to me. "Don't be upset or embarrassed, okay? I don't want you to push yourself either"

If it wasn't for her dating Sanbin, this wouldn't have happened. How did she even know I was friends with him? She is crazy!

I nod letting her know I understand. "I really want to get over this" I sigh. "You will but it takes time" she puts her head on my shoulder. "I don't think Haime unnie and Hyunjoo unnie like each other very" she says. "I don't know about that but I'm glad Haime likes you" I tell her. "You think so?" I nod and she hugs me.
