49: Auditions Pt.2

Sunghoon POV

Today I have auditions at BE:LIFT after school and I'm nervous and excited. The lady who scouted me was very nice and welcoming over the phone. "Hyung, you seem very excited" Sanbin says bitterly.

It's early in the morning right now before school, I offered to buy everyone except Sanbin breakfast. "I am" "Excited enough to buy me breakfast" he says and I shake my head. "Why are you excited, Sunghoon?!" Haime ask and I answer gladly.

"Practice after school" I say which is not completely a lie and Angel looks at me. "Since when we're you excited for practice again?" I lightly pinch her nose and shrug. "Speaking of practice. I have the dates for our performance" Heejin says excitedly and Angel squeals excitedly too.

"We perform on April 23 and 25"  she says and Angel looks at her with wide eyes. "We have at least two weeks before then" Heejin nods, I hug my somewhat nervous girlfriend to calm her. "Don't worry babe, you'll do great" I say and she hugs me back "see that wasn't that bad"

she glares at me then let's me go but I pull her back and she relaxes against me again. The food comes and they all thank me except for Sanbin who glares at me.  "Something wrong, Sanbin" I ask but he shakes his head with a fake smile "Just a bit hungry, hyung!" I smile at his sarcasm until Angel gives him half of her toast. "Here, Sanbin oppa" she so sweet and I hate it.

"Next!" The scout shouts for the next boy and I flinch. There's only 2 boys ahead of me now which makes me more anxious. "Are you nervous? You seem nervous" I look in the direction of the voice, some older guy sitting next to me. "You can tell?" I ask and he nods. "I'm also nervous so I would definitely know"

"Umm... Park Sunghoon, nice to meet you" I say politely and he shakes my hand. "Park Jongseong, Call me, Jay" he smiles and I nod. During our wait time I spark up a convo with Jay to get rid of some of the nervousness I felt and it kind of work. We got to know a little bit about each other like how we're both 02z but he's a bit older than me.

And then they call me "Good luck Sunghoon-ssi" he waves his fist "Fighting!" I smile at the small bonding we had "Fighting, Jay hyung!" I say before heading inside the room where the auditions were held. "Hello" I greet the producer and bow. "Please introduce yourself" They say quickly.

"Hello, I'm Park Sunghoon, I'm 18 years old and my favorite sport right now is Ice skating" The scouts write something down as the producer stares into my soul, I try very hard to maintain eye contact with him but it's a little intimidating. "Please show us what you have prepared, Park Sunghoon" I nod as my musics starts and try to relax myself.

Angel POV

"Heejin! It's so hot!" I whine as she keeps trying to lay on me while I'm waiting for my boyfriend. "Angel! I'm so tired!" She whines back as I roll her off me. "Angel, how'd you and oppa get together?" She asks making me smile from embarrassment.

"Okay, so... when I was eleven"-  "Eleven!" I roll my eyes at the loud girl and apologize to passerby's. "I've been an international skater since I was nine! Anyways when I was eleven, I found out I was going back home and told him I liked him before I left"  she nods and acts like she's taking notes.

"But he didn't respond, he left" she looks up at me stopping her antics with sadness. "That jerk!" She puffs her cheeks but I pop them. "Hold on! he explained it to me but let me finish" she calms down.

"Three years later we decided to keep in contact and never brought it up again. Then 5 months ago I came back, he thought I was missing, got into a argument with his mom then let me stay with him and we started talking then dating"

I explain to the confused girl, she put down her imaginary notebook and pen. "Why did he not respond" Heejin asks. "He thought he'd never see me again, it was at the same time his dad and sister left for the Capital" I say and her face morphes from furious to 'awww' in seconds.

"Awww! that's so sad and sweet" she says, I boop her nose before we're shadowed by someone. "What  are you guys talking about?" Oppa says, he reaches out for me and Heejin gets off my legs so he can pull me up. Once up I immediately back away from him "It was our daily Sunghoon oppa slander time"

I smile as Heejin glares at him but he just puts his hand on his chin pretending to be in thought. I look at his jawline, nice and sharp, it was especially shiny today though. "What we're you doing today? You're especially sweaty, babe?" His eyes widen then he looks confused.

He looks like he's going to lie but I keep quiet giving him the benefit of the doubt. "To warm up I went like a hundred times around the rink. I didn't realize how sweaty I was" he finally says and I nod. "I'm going to leave first, bye Angel. Bye oppa" she walks out and he grabs my hand. "Your place?" I nod.

He walks out the shower with no shirt on and I groan. "Why do you always do this when I'm tired and weak?" He laughs at me "Are you tired? You have no self control when you're tired" I ask as he crawls toward me, he stops at my stomach and tickles me. "I'm a little tired" he laughs as I ruffle his hair.

"Babe is there something you wanna tell me?" He shakes his head as I roll my eyes "But there is something I want to ask you" "What?" "When can we go further?" My eyes widen at his sudden question. "I'm not rushing you! Just asking" he says. "I don't know" I say and he nods getting up, I follow "Are you upset?" To my surprise he smiles and hugs me "Nope, I'll wait for you" he kisses me.
