𝚘𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚋𝚎𝚛 𝟸𝟷𝚝𝚑 𝟷𝟿𝟾𝟸

jim hopper got out of his jeep, walking towards their cabin in the woods he stepped over the trap wire he had set up and knocked on the door, on the other side victoria listened quietly,after recognising the pattern she opened the door and let hopper in.

Immediately he recognised he the sour expression on her face and what it meant. "we really gonna do this again?" he asked exhausted as he took off his hat, the chocolate chip cookie crumbs on the table made him sigh, 003 wasn't necessarily a very patient girl.

"are you changing your mind?" "no." "then yes, we are doing this." and that was that. jim and 003 had had this conversation many times before, he had tried every way of convincing her, the polite way, the angry way and...well those were the only two methods he knew. yet, no matter what 003 was determined to go to school. 

she had started to talk about this when she had first seen grease. the movie had made her incredibly fascinated with high schools, and when she calculated what her vague age might be she knew that she would go to high school. 

and then for one year 003 had begged and pleaded with hopper that she should be allowed to go to school. she always fought back whatever argument hopper had against her going to school except, a, she wouldn't know anyone and get overwhelmed since she couldn't tell him about jonathan. b, she wouldn't be able to protect herself in such an uncertain environment, and she couldn't tell him about her powers, jonathan was the only person who knew about them.

jim had dinner alone that night, 003 had just taken hers to her room and closed the door. the next day when 003 came out of the room to have breakfast she noticed a bag that was kept on the table, next to where jim sat eating cereal drowning in beer. 

"what-is that?" jim looked at her, "why don't you open it?" 003 did as he said, the paper falling off to reveal a new black school bag. 003 looked at him confused, while jim kept his face as neutral as he could. "that's the most neutral colour i could find. we can sort out the books and stuff later." and before he knew it 003 was jumping up and hugging him yelling thank you over and over again, and jim hopper let a small smile slip. 

"okay, okay but i still need to officially enroll you. and the biggest problem with that is your name." "name?" jim told her to sit "yeah, we can't exactly have kid enrolled with a number as her name."

"victoria." jim looked confused "what?" "my name. victoria." "well that was fast. you thought about this before?" 003 had no other choice but to tell him that she had just thought of it out of the blue.

that same night victoria couldn't wait for jim to fall asleep. as soon as she heard the sounds of his. snores she put on her shoes and went out the window. jonathan was sat inside castle byers reading a comic.

"hi, i have something to tell you." jonathan set his boom down and turned to victoria "what is it?" he asked. "hopper said i can go to school." victoria said as she almost burst with excitement. jonathan's face fell. "oh, that's great." the boy said flatly.

victoria furrowed her brows "are you not happy?" she asked. "no no i am." jonathan tried explain but victoria didn't look convinced. "you are not smiling, i thought you would be happy that i can go to school with you now." victoria said.

jonathan tried to stutter out a response before he gave up and said "look i just, i'm not popular at school in fact i am very much unpopular. i am literally the school freak, and i guess i'm just afraid you'd realise how cool everyone else is and you would make friends with them and i just get behind alone like before."

"well that is not going to happen." victoria said "you don't know that. i mean you are going to be the most popular person in school on like the first day." victoria shook her head "i don't think that would happen, and even if it did, you will always be my best friend." victoria said with a smile.

and within the next week victoria stood outside the hawkins high building. her backpack ready dressed in a simple striped sweater and blue jeans she stared scared at the huge building. "hey, it's going to be fine. you'll be fine." jonathan said as he stood beside him they would be starting with their first year at high school, she had spent her last week, going over everything she needed to know from the subjects she had taken. 

over the next year 003 achieved a lot, she made her first girl friends, nancy wheeler and barbra holland. she had also finally managed a way to tell hopper about jonathan and their friendship, obviously she had just told him that she had met him at school. she also met will, mike, lucas and dustin they were amazing kids, they used to say that she was weird and quirky and they loved that about her.

with the good also came the bad, the bullying, people like tommy and carol who could make a good day very bad very soon, failing an assignment, getting scolded by a teacher, the occasional fights she would have with her friends and the questions she would get about the tattoo on her wrist.

she would try to hide it a lot but sometimes, only sometimes people would catch a peak and ask her, one day it got so bad that she had picked up a pair of scissors and tried to cut it out. but she had ended up cutting it deep enough for her to pass out. hopper had scolded her for doing something so stupid as he called, telling her she broke the most important rule about not being stupid. 

but in the end he had hugged her as she cried.

victoria had also met steve harrington, who had become nancy wheeler's boyfriend, though even victoria could see how the two of them never seem to fit properly together. victoria never really figured out what he meant to her, but whatever it was definitely left a mark in her mind.

the next chapter is going to be present day and we are going to starting of strong with the last episode of season 1!
