In a pillar of Hellfire, the King appears. He doesn't look like his usual happy energetic self.

"Good afternoon, Your Majesty," I respond using the highest form of politeness I can.

"Good afternoon, Kaylee. Please begin your report." He speaks slower too, his general vibe is simply off. Terrifying. His eyes glow a dim green, but I suspect it'll glow brighter than ever pretty soon.

"Today, 42 minutes ago, I found a Battlegroup of the Human empire numbering 60. 40 Knights, 16 Mages, 3 Sorcerers, and 1 Magelord. All have been killed as of 39 minutes ago. They were advancing directly towards Miryan for an unknown goal. I am certain they haven't been able to send a message before they died." He relaxes a bit, hearing they're dead. His eyes brighten regardless.

"What kind of Magelord?" I know why it's important but I don't know how important exactly.

"Inferno Magelord, I didn't bother checking their level or physiology past confirming they were humans affiliated with the Empire." Not a lie. I only registered they existed, and that they died.

"How did you find them?"He keeps asking for more info and his eyes keep getting more and more blinding.

"I was hunting for Bandits as I was nearly out of Biomass to strengthen my forces with."

"Good, here take this." He hands me a small metallic device with a still-beating purple heart in it. "It'll let you directly contact me. Make sure it doesn't freeze. Thank you for your report, this information is invaluable. The Empire will pay for thinking they can just walk a special forces group like that into our territory." His eyes glow ever brighter

"Yes Your Majesty. They will. Thank you for your time and generosity."

"Anyway, I'll leave you to what you were doing before."

In another pillar of green flame, he disappears.

That wasn't stressful at all, I don't know what you mean.

In any case, I have 8000 biomass to fuck around with. Alright, let's do this in a less improvised way. I have mid-cost highly effective mainline fighters, area denial and tank destroyers, AoE high-damage units, and spammable units.

I don't have air units or high-speed transports, and nor do I have actual wall busters.

Let's work on air units first. I see two viable options, either really small locust-type literal cloud-of-pain flyers or heavy artillery-death-from-above and mobile base flyer.

In comprehensible terms, small but insanely low-cost literal insects, or the Leviathan.

Let's see the downsides of both.

Locusts:

-weak to AoE

-Low damage

-useless in harsh weather

Leviathan:

-Big target

-slow

-expensive

I think it'd be a lot cooler to make the Leviathan. The main problem is lifting this much mass. I would really like to make it fly non-magically, but that's impossible. I don't have access to negative mass materials. Another challenge is making the spawning pool big enough.

hmmm... Let's move the Spawning pool in a more open area, and tell it to expand using the passive biomass income it'll generate from the trees I'll add next to it.

Now that that's done, I'm down 30 biomass for the acid and saplings, they'll grow fast enough.

The rest will go into a giant housing structure, Like a termite nest, but with several towers, and more empty. The creep can grow fairly strong structures.
