It's been a week since I've made the war crime trio, and so far I've killed dozens of monsters with them. Unfortunately whatever they kill doesn't give any biomass, since next to nothing remains, so my only source of Biomass is what the hunters bring back. In a week, with their only task and Assistance from the Swarmers, they've brought back 3468 Biomass, bringing me up to 4502 Biomass.

So I make 3 Hunters, which leaves me enough to make another war crimes trio, so I do and am left with 552 Biomass. Apparently, Cassandra decided that three weeks without hearing news of me was worrying, so she came here herself.

I damn near covered her in acid I was so surprised by her suddenly appearing in a ray of light.

"Damn, you really settled in, huh?" I know this is rhetorical, but I choose to answer anyway.

"Not as much as I'd like. Progress is slow, but at least I've figured out how to level up."

"Really? I thought it'd have been through taking risks." She looks genuinely confused.

"Nope. I get XP from my drones killing things. The amount I get is fixed. For example, if I kill a boar I get 20 XP, regardless of how much risk my drones were in." Everyone's willingness to share is beginning to affect me.

"Damn, I wish I had that kinda growth speed. What about your stats, how they going?" They're going space shuttle status.

"They're going vertical. That's to say they increase by at the very least 10% per level. 20% in DEX." Which is absolutely fucking insane, mind you.

"What in the fuckedy fuck? Punch me right now." What? I mean okay, if you want me to.

So I move my main body to her and punch as hard as I can straight to her gut.

She grunts and gets pushed back a few meters, her armor is dented.

"Sheesh. I'm tier two, with 70 levels under my belt on top of that, and I still felt that one. I guess that means you really do have monster-type stat increases."

It's not like I told you or anything, dumbass.

"Oh right, also, I have new drones to show you! Follow me!" I'm actually excited to talk about my drones, but that shouldn't be surprising.

"First up is the swarmer! Small, fast, cheap, and reasonably deadly. This guy's the mainline cannon fodder."

She looks interested but doesn't comment.

I call a hunter over.

"This is a hunter. Fast, deadly, perceptive, but also our main source of biomass, since they can drag things they kill back here."

"Do you only use chitin as armor?" A good question, that I'm happy to answer.

"Yup. Even when cracked it'll defend against slashing and most blunt attacks, and piercing attacks need precision and I can reliably dodge most attacks anyway."

She doesn't add any other questions, so I walk the second war crime trio here.

"Now these two types are special. The two smaller ones can spew acid and are essentially impervious to slashing damage. Even the air filtration they have is protected by chitin. You'd need serious power to even injure one." I explain, but she cuts me off.

"What's with their arms?"

"I was getting to that. One of their arms is normal, while the other is made to spit liquid at a target. I've increased the range using pressurized air, that way, I can make acid clouds!"

She thinks for a moment, looks at me delighted, and says

"Really? Acid clouds? How acidic?" Good thing you've asked! I tested it.
