Memories Lost And Gained

•Iris•

I woke up in the morning and decided to fly around. I was bored anyway. I changed into some new clothes and took off.

"Remember......" Something whispered. My eyes widened. I turned around which was stupid because I was all alone. I turned around and was about to start but then something started to hurt. I clutched at my head. "Remember your past....." Something whispered in my mind.

"Get out!!" I yelled. I growled and started to fly back. My head hurt more and more by the second. I finally couldn't take it and fell to the ground.

•Jack•

I heard people yelling and Sandman came in. He gestured me to come with him. "What's going on?" I asked myself. I set down my pencil and papers. Yes, I was writing something important to me. And no, you people are never seeing it. I walked outside and saw people crouched around someone. I pushed past Bunnymund and saw Iris.

"Iris...." My voice faltered. I picked her up and shook her. "Iris! Please tell me you're okay." I cried. She opened her eyes and I smiled. My smile faded when I realized she was confused. Confusion was plastered onto her face as she looked at me.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"What do you mean? I'm Jack, Jack Frost. You don't remember?" I asked. She shook her head. I looked down and sighed.

"Where am I?" She asked.

"Home." I answered. She shook her head.

"How is this my home? I don't know any of you." Pointing at me, she looked down. The other guardians left and I looked at her sadly. I sighed and picked her up. I brought her to her room and set her down gently.

"Is this my room?" She asked. I nodded and smiled a fake one.

"Yeah, I've always loved it. Anyway, you'll be alright, okay." She nodded and I brought her in for a hug. She was pretty stiff and didn't move. Kissing her forehead, I walked to the door and smiled sadly.

"Get some rest, I'll wake you up when it's time." I said.

"Time for what?" Damn, she was curious

"Just when you've had enough sleep. I smirked. She nodded and I watched her eyes drift off into an endless sleep. I walked outside and sighed.

"What are we gonna do?" I asked.

"First you should see this." Tooth said. I looked at the cylinder.

"She did something similar to you. She has four siblings, her being the middle child. She had an older brother and an older sister. She had two younger brothers. They all went skating one day and that's when she fell into the lake." North stopped there.

"So how does she remember me and Danny? And Nathalia? Her other siblings?" I asked.

"She remembered everything about her life. It's not hard, you just don't know for some reason. But I have your baby teeth." Tooth said.

"So she doesn't remember what she did for her siblings." I asked. Tooth shook her head.

"No she does. I'm guessing she just doesn't want to talk about it." Tooth offered a smile. I sighed and looked back at the door. I walked to Iris' room and knocked. She didn't answer so I went inside. She was sound and asleep and I moved some hair out of the way. She squirmed and moved around. I chuckled and poked her on the cheek. As she sat up, she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. I chuckled and smiled at her.

"Have some nice beauty sleep?" I asked mockingly.

"Just because I lost my memory doesn't mean I don't know about mocking." She smiled. I poked her on the nose and smiled. I put an arm around her and pulled her closer. Then I remembered that she lost her memory. I didn't care though. I leaned forward and kissed her. I was surprised she kissed me back.

Jack leaned forward and kissed me. Why would he do that? I kissed him back though because it felt right. I smiled after we pulled apart. I stared at him for a really long time.

"Jack?" I asked.

"Hmm?" Jack asked. He pulled me in for a hug and I looked up.

"You're a Guardian. I remember." I smiled. He looked at me for a really long time, then crashed his lips into mine. Our lips locked and moved in perfect sync, just like always. For once in my life, I had lost all the memories of somethign horrible that happened to me. But now, I realized I couldn't forget about Jack. Or anyone else in my life. I smiled into our kiss and he pulled me closer. The best kiss in my life.
