"Percy!! Hurry up!" I yelled. Running out of his house, he hopped into the car and I laughed at him as he tripped and landed face first in the front seat.

"Smooth." I laughed.

"Shut up, doll face." Percy laughed along and kissed my cheek.

"Don't call me doll face." I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'll call you whatever I want to." Percy said, mimicking me. Laughing, we drove off to our favorite snow place and I smiled. The nice chill in the air was just what I needed. I knew Jack Frost was there. He was always watching.

"Babes, what's up?" Percy asked. Danny came running over and I waved. Percy hit me in the face with a snowball. My eyes widened as I removed the snow.

"Oh hell no, you bitch." I sassed. Grabbing a clump of snow, I threw it at Percy but he dodged it and it hit Danny.

"Hey! Not cool!!" Danny yelled. He threw one but it missed me by a mile. After our snowball fight, we went to get coffee at my favorite shop. As we exited the shop, we were talking about our plans for Percy's house. We were debating on what to do for the sleepover.

"Let's do blindfolded make up!" Danny yelled.

"We should! Let's go buy the make up!" Percy cheered. I started laughing again. They were the best friends in the entire world and I couldn't help but smile. They turned their heads to me and raised their eyebrows.

"Well? Shall we do that?" Percy asked.

"Oh yeah! Let's hurry to a make up store!" I ran ahead of them and turned around, gesturing them to hurry up. Percy's eyes were wide with fear and he ran over super fast.

"IRIS GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!" Percy yelled. Turning around, I saw a giant truck and my eyes widened. I was frozen and couldn't move.

"IRIS!!" Percy pushed me out of the way in time for the truck to miss me but it hit Percy instead.

"PERCY!!" I yelled. Running over, I cradled his limpless body and Danny whipped out his phone. Dialing 911, the ambulance was coming and I started to cry.

"Percy, stay with me alright. Stay with me." I cried. Tears dripped onto his face as his eyes slowly opened. Blood poured onto my hands and jeans as I cradled his head. Eyes fluttering, he looked up at me and coughed out blood. His hand went up to my face as I grabbed it quickly. I touched his neck for his pulse as I could only find a very weak one.

"Babes, I love... You... You were always there for me when Danny wasn't.... We were like the three musketeers... I would never leave your side but... Now... Now I see that I can't protect you from everything... If I die, don't hold a grudge. I love you... and I always will." Percy was breathing heavily now. Tears gushed out of my eyes as I brought his hand to my cheek.

"Please don't leave me now. I need you here with me." I cried. He smiled weakly and his eyes drooped closed. The ambulance soon arrived and they took Percy away. I was left crying and Danny also had tears in his eyes. He rubbed my back and we drove to the hospital. This was supposed to be the best day ever. It turned out wrong. Once we were at the hospital, the nurse shook her head. That meant one thing only: Percy was gone.
